Hi! I'm Derek and I love to travel! My travels to date have largely been domestic, having visited all 48 of the continental United States. Prior to 2014, I had also visited Canada and the Bahamas but that hardly made me an international traveler. However, in May of that year, I visited Europe for the first time, going to London and Paris. That planted a seed in me that has lead me to return to Europe every year since! I will chronicle my various travel experiences here and on my blog, DebrianTravels.com. As part of my travel planning, TH-cam videos have been very valuable and I want to pay it forward for others! The Italian Adventure Episode 2
Today's video features the Trenitalia trains of our journey from Venice to La Spezia, Italy, just southeast of the famed Cinque Terre. This trip occurred on 24 May 2017. This is the second video of the Italian Adventure series.

Thank you! I have gotten away from making travel videos due to other pursuits (that I have since shelved) and due to limited travel in the years just before and during COVID. Sorry for the delayed reply. I don't know the exact distance and we stopped for lunch and took in some shops. But, with that, it was maybe a 20-minute leisurely walk.

Whas it easy to find the right platform where the train stops to go to paris?
Thanks for watching! Are you referring to when the train stops in Brussels? It's very straightforward. I have taken this route twice and each time, the platform is clearly signed in the main concourse downstairs. We had no trouble at all finding the train each time.
This reminds me of the December 2010 snow.
Great video. Do you find that there is enough time to switch trains in Florence to Pisa. We are traveling from La Spezia to Venice on Sept 26th and some of the tranferr times are pretty tight for making the next train if you do not know your way around the station. Thanks
Thanks for watching! The connection in Florence was fairly comfortable. We even took a minute to drop into the convenience store adjacent to the track from where our Pisa train left to grab bottles of water. The tracks in Florence are all parallel and connected by a common concourse. Compared to some stations it pretty compact and we had no problem making our connection even though our Pisa train was on a track to the far side of the station and just outside the main train shed.

Thumbs up for Michael Magro and Ben Polcer , sure, always !! So glad to see Magro and Ben are together again in Lose Marbles. Was it really recorded in 2018? It seems as if it was from somewhere around 2010? I would like to see this team of Marbles more in the future.
You are correct in that it was recorded some time ago. Either 2008 or 2009. I moved it between accounts so the 2018 is the "repost date."
