We're dedicated to riding, restoring, servicing & building custom vintage European motorcycles.
We are in business because we believe in the value of machines that are designed to last forever, and that a properly maintained vintage motorcycle can be just as fun and reliable to ride as a modern bike-and thoroughly more rewarding to own.
If you're looking to buy, sell, or trade a specific Ducati, MV Agusta, Laverda, Moto Guzzi, or BMW, contact us.

Great bike. Great film. Great man.
This man is a legend as much as Ducati Imola 750 Ss.
AGREEE--- LEGEND
My father rode his 900 SS for over 100.000km and only had to change pistons and rings once, the rest of the engine is stock. Still looks incredibly beautiful. He had a slim racingseat on it and rode on that from northern Germany down to Greece and then over to the island Crete and back, he must've had a butt of steel ;D Now it's sitting and waiting for its restauration
Bravo. Great film. The man, Keith Hale, is as awesome as the 750SS. Godspeed, K. Hale.
LABOR OF LOVE !
Yeah, and better check the valve clearances every 2000 miles, bro...$1500 a pop.
WTF would you have a bike like this in NYC?
Fantastic sound and ride !.
Beautiful machine, there's just something about those big Ducati vee twins. However they don't have a reputation for doing starship mileages.
TO MR. KEITH HALE, YOU COLD ATTACH A SIDE CAR TO IT AND KEEP RIDING INTO AND THROUGH YOU 70S IN TO YOUR 80S. ALSO, WHEN YOU KICK THE BUCKET, TO RIDE THE GREAT BIG MOTORCYCLE HIGHWAY IN THE SKY, YOU COULD CONSIDER DONATING IT TO A RESPECTABLE MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM WITH DOCUMENTATION ABOUT YOUR LIFELONG FRIENDSHIP WITH DUCATI AND YOUR ''SOUL MATE'' THE 750 SUPER SPORT. THEN IT WOULD BE A MOTORCYCLE FOR THE ALL THE PEOPLE TO ADMIRE.
bought one of the Other Rare ones a Mach 1 in Germany in 66 - in the Air Force, worked later on at MILLER Cycle specialties, restoring Ducati's, many a time at Berliner Motors, Long Island, Hamden cycle cntr, was a Ducati dealer owned by Bob Miller, Great video on Mr, Hale
A US model in black/gold? I thought the b/g models were UK only? Lovely bike...reminds me of working at Three Cross Motorcycles in 1978-9.
Awesome story Awesome bike.
THANK YOU -- the story was a pleasure to tell!
Highly desireable yet not-that-fast Italian rarity.
👌
Cranked
ALWAYS !
Compared to such a ride a Ferrari F40 is a Fiat Panda. - But who cares about really exotic bikes? - ME, I do. Love it. THNX 4 uploading this.
ME2 -- the MV is the closest I'll get to a F40
@@motoborgotaroinc7343 To me an MV like the 750 S is so much more then an F40. And it's so much more exotic by the way...
I used to lust after one those.....until a friend let me ride his. Terribly uncomfortable, awful seating position and arm cramps. Couldn't even finish the ride on it and traded bikes with someone else in our group. Saved me the hassle of buying one and then having to sell it shortly after!
should be a big duke in every motoboy's history. but they are history, better bikes now available.were avilable thx to practical japanese engineers. the 750 water-bottle just as fast, bit smoover, more reliable, and much cheaper. had to close my eyes while buying one, but you got used to it.
Is a 'water-bottle' what we called a 'kettle' in the UK...ie the Suzuki GT750? Seriously, they aren't even on the same page.
Magnifique
Back in the 70s, when I was a motorcycle-mad university student riding a Japanese bike, I came across a pinned note on the motorcycle club noticeboard. "Taglioni is God" the note declared. I didn't know who Taglioni was at the time, but years later I came across the terms "750 super sport" and "green frame." Then I understood the reference to the divine.
Taglioni is God! love it !!
Great video. Very very nicely made and edited. 🎉❤
Keep riding Keith, just as long as you can.
I had the 750GT and the later 900 Darmah , nothing sounds like those bikes especially with a pair of Conti's to make them 'Bark' . These-days after 55yrs of riding , I ride the poor-mans Vincent (TR1 XV1000) an XS-2 Cafe' and a W650 .There is a Bond when riding certain-bikes that is like nothing-else ; that Visceral-connection with a roaring-beast where the exhilaration simultaneously connects you with Life while you know any second could bring Death . It truly makes you feel alive . Dave nz
Sell it and use a fraction of the funds to buy another bike. It doesn’t particularly matter which bike, if it does nearly everything you need it to, it’s comfortable for you ( unlike this bike…let’s be honest ), and you gel with the bike, you’ll have a great experience each ride. I’m currently in love with my Z900RS Kawasaki Jaffa, and would not swap it for any other bike.
SO beautiful. I am genuinely moved and can only say thank you to all involved. I would like to donate to this man`s retirement fund, is there a way?
Thank you -- this was a very important story to tell for us.
Beautiful in looks and sound.
A beautiful story, Keith truly deserved that bike and fingers crossed the next caretaker respects the condition and doesn't attempt a "restoration".
So glad I found this this incredibly shot short! Great job! 😗👌
This was a fun shoot! -- thank you
I can relate to this bikes mileage. I owned a brand new 500sl pantah for 12 years and sold it with over 120k miles on the same engine. Some ducati's run and run.
Excellent bike in good condition I miss my BMW motorcycle back in California it was 1973 model k75
Why the music
Thank you Keith for letting us share your story.
Mike the bike hailwood would be proud..i would be!
To kind -- thank you
The conrods and valve lifters are polished to prevent breaking.
I remember going to the dealer back then. I still have the brochure where he wrote $4,999 on it for the SS. Oh, what the heck, I'll give you $5K right now for that old thing. Cash. (BTW, no reason to pump the tickler, just hold it down a few seconds)
Not all ticklers are created equal
A thing of beauty 👌😎
OMG it's cold and you take more than 6000rpm...
YES -- thats where the fun starts --
Saw a cop giving one a parking ticket. I told him the city should be paying him to park there.
Agreed -- we got a ticket when we were filming this --- HAHAHHA
Would you die for your bike? FFS mate get a fucking grip that's the most ridiculous question I've ever heard
Lovely. I have my story with my 900SS and this film captures so much and tweeked old feelings that i never realised others have experienced. Thank you for the film and love to Dave.
Correction....Keith.
@@johncameron125 this was a project of love for us -- the love and respect of our shared passions for 2 wheels
Cool story cool bike.
I had a tuned SF 2 and it'd also do this - bounce backwards on its stand due to crank inertia when you blipped the throttle .
At 17 I bought my used 66? Ducati 250 Scrambler for $100. It was 1970. Spent the week embarrassing new Honda 350's behind the high school. It lost spark and never ran again. In 1970 nobody in Monterey had even heard of Ducati
The form, color, sound, everything in design. Makes me tear up, bro 😂 that’s a fantastic bike!
They are gems
...Such a heartwarming & interesting story... A beautiful bike & a wonderfully appreciative guy... Thank you Moto Borgotaro for bringing us this short film. !!
Such a fantastic, warm story of a quiet man and his love. I’ve watched and referred this clip many times to friends and we’ve all enjoyed it. I hope you didn’t sell the bike, Keith. It’d break my heart and I think yours too. I wish you many more, endless rides. You’re meant to be together ✌🏻
It is perhaps the piece I am the most proud to be apart of --
Beautiful. 👍🏻
thank you
This r65 LS is my dream engine, great job, perfection
Thank you
