The press tool is a awesome tool, the people that has bad things to say about it must don’t have one🤔
nice tool id get one if i were rich, but if i were rich i wouldn’t need to work therefore i wouldn’t need the tool
Amazing but if they could only bring the price down on thier. fittings . Time to outsource this to Mexico !!!
Only people who complain is the ones that have not used it yet😂
Fire that guy, to many tattoos!
Pleasure working with you guys this summer!
Great video! Nice to see what I missed out on this summer 😂
Sean !! You are a shining star! Thanks for the demo
This garbage will always result in call backs from leaking. Brazing is the only way to do the job right.
Until a2L refrigerants roll out and you’re not allowed to braze
@@chark2131it looks like we can still braze on systems that will contain A2L refrigerants
Press fittings are great when installed on a specified supported attachment to prevent vibration. I must add that the fitting is likely guaranteed to perform for up to 25 years. Our home is 72 years old and all soldered fittings are totally leak free. Chlorides or chlorinated water will oxidize exposed copper and in that fitting the pressed wet portion will be eroded and the oring will lose it's elasticity. Solder if you can as it's the best repair or install. However, if the pipe interior is wet and in an observable place where a drip leak is not critical, then I'd use a press fitting and consider it would last well over 25 years.
Great job! I’ll be using my new rls system soon! It’s definitely an alternative to brazing.
👏🏽🔥
I recently ordered the Klauke 19N kit and am ready to get it in my hands. It took me a long time of watching videos and obtaining all the information I could get to help me decide if it was worth buying. It’s a process that I believe will work provided the instructions are followed correctly. It’s not a cheap purchase but I’m always into looking at ways to make installing units a little easier. Yes the fittings too are costly but if it performs as advertised then I’ll know I made a good decision. It does take a lot of praying to drop that much money on a system that is coming into the industry as a better way than the silver solder and acetylene/oxygen process that’s been around for years. I just know that in my area there are numerous companies and individuals who have came on board with the RLS system and they are very happy they did. Going up into an attic with a plastic box with all the tools needed to join the line set rather than the old way is a game changer for me.
That's great news! We appreciate your business and happy you chose to use RLS!!
Man it would be nice to have one of those tools for flame free locations like hospitals when working on refrigeration cases tried the push on fittings but they leaked to the compression tool would have been great and a extremely helpful tool to have to repair the leaking SRB fittings.
Great job Jessica!
Thanks Pat! - Jessica
The Ambassadors of Rapid Locking System ! New stars are born !! Cheers
The only type of connection you can trust is brazed or solder. These new systems fail after a year or two.
Hi, RLS and ACR what's the difference?
Hello! RLS Is our brand name and ACR stands for air conditioning refrigeration.
Can a test be done showing one end capped, and the other end pressurized to see if the pipe will slide out from the rubber joints or burst at the fitting?
Good video!! I like this alot… How he says he can save the customer money by saving the customer time😮💨!!! Also where he says ‘Yeah, I Put That🦍🦍’ Love it keep it up
People are asking for a solder joint test next, but a braze joint is what I'd like to see vs a zoomlock fitting.
Pex ?
solder joint test next please
Very impressive. However a lot of these joints weather by press or bad soldiering usually only fails (dislodged) under shock or pressure spike & not by pressure increases!
Nice and especially the engineering checking details.
Awesome video !
Great video! Howard mechanical is doing big things. #rls #pressgang #presstool

Wow I am Impressed ! Great explanation!
It would be interesting to see a solder joint in the same test.

@@aaronourada5585 nice here in Greece we don't have that only with gluing
Water pressure great ! Refrigerant pressure, flow, oil, temperature changes, and vibration might get a different result ! Interesting video ! Thanks 👍
Hydrostatic testing is the ultimate benchmark sir, you could use a hydraulic pump and pressurize it with hydraulic oil but then the tubing would be contaminated and unable to be used for its original application. At least with water you can dehydrate it and use it for refrigeration. It would get your vacuum pump oil pretty saturated with h20 “assuming you blew the water out and then followed it with compressed air and then nitrogen, it will still get the vacuum pump oil dirty.
Been using those for Hydraulic lines on aircraft for years. Squeezes them at 10,000 psi.
No es real, a esa presión el agua sale como una bala hasta puede perforar lo que esté a su alrededores
The TH-cam algorithm has selected you.
What battery A.H do you guys suggest to use on the tool? Is a 1.5 amp battery ok or is it better to go 2 amp or even more? Or does it not even matter as long as it’s a Makita18 volt? Thx
