Fake or not, the fascination is the cultural differences: in our country, Jeyran would be in big trouble not giving them to Child Protective Services where they would be placed in a vetted safe home with foster parents and the parents would have an arrest warrant out for child endangerment. Second, the idea of helping two kids build an encampment because they want it is so far off our radar, it’s a bit of a shock to prepare to leave 2 kids to fend for themselves. Third, very fascinating to see how and what people prepare food and eat food in another culture. For the sake of those 2 boys, I do hope this is fake, living on that mountainside will be a hard life with no education.

God put you in their path. Thank God you found them. I’m a bit confused though, did you leave them in the mountains? It’s stunning to me the police would not help you look for two runaway children. Our prayers have been answered, thankfully, they are safe.
I found them in the mountains, they refuse to come to my house and say that they are comfortable here, they are like two newly hatched birds that need to be cared for and protected.

Their campsite looked like it was disturbed by animals, not intruders, that at least is a sign of hope. When they went home w you, they left everything. They knew you’d would be back, so they threw it where you would find it. Let’s remain strong in our faith and know that God is still protecting them and keeping them safe. I too will lean into my faith and pray continuously for their safety.
