Kathrein Broadcast USA low power VHF-TV Band III combined system project.
In our latest low-power project, we successfully combined multiple low-power VHF-TV channels into a single antenna array. This achievement was made possible through the use of a compact, cost-effective Manifold combiner and our state-of-the-art Broadband DRV panel array.
A key advantage of this integration is the substantial reduction in weight and wind load on the supporting tower. By consolidating multiple channels into one array, we eliminate the need for multiple antennas, each of which would add its own weight and resistance to wind.
Furthermore, this streamlined approach to antenna design offers substantial cost savings in both installation and maintenance. By reducing the physical footprint required for broadcasting equipment, we're able to offer broadcasters a more efficient, economically viable solution. This project not only demonstrates our commitment to innovation in broadcast technology but also provides a scalable, practical solution for broadcasters looking to optimize their operations without compromising on quality or performance.
