That is one helluva beautiful truck my friend! Great job man! My dad bought a new '73 when he first bought our farm. It was a custom deluxe c10. We all used it like a tractor. Always thru cowshit, fields, you name it. In '82 we fixed the body but about 15 years later it was rotten beyond repair so we sold the drive-train and scrapped the rest. I've had some more over the years, but right now my son and I each have '85s. They are both k20s with mine being single headlights and my son's are stacked. These we are gonna restore. Thank you for sharing your beautiful truck!😊

These were nice trucks but they would rust on the lot. My cousin had a 73 454 half ton short bed with wood grain and a 3:73. Strong for its day.

I had a 78 C10 "BIG 10" silverado. It was the rustiest truck in town. Plus, it had been treated with Rusty Jones rustproofing. Member that? hello Rusty Jones, goodbye rusty cars. Now that I think about it, they were telling us exactly what would happen. Get the "rust proofing treatment", and soon you'd be waving goodbye to your car as it was being towed away- too unsafe to drive anymore. They must've injected cars with a mix of molten salt and battery acid....

This old square body is almost as good as my 1986 Dodge Power Ram squarebody, but not quite.

1973 was the first year for those generation Chev & GMC fullsize pickups & same with the K5 Blazers, Jimmys, & Suburbans all with that same body style & 1973 was also the first year Chevy & GMC made an optional bigger cab pickup which was a crew cab.

I had a 1976, 4 door cab,with a 454,a Chevy Silverado gold and white lots of power, a good running truck. Sincerely Richard Dodds.

ach ik rij pas motor vanaf 1978, zelf nog meer dan 20 jaar motors verkocht voor een baas en deze Yammie heb ik al vanaf 2005,, nog nooit aan hoeven te sleutelen behalve normaal onderhoud, ja als je dan denkt dat dit verkrachten is dan weet je wel waar je t over hebt ! Dat sommige mensen naar zo een motor kijken misschien, misschien beter om naar een snorscooter te gaan zoeken :)
