How can I connect with you?
Magnificent men both of you are, I'm learning pharmacy informatics in hope to land a job in this field in the future. Keep publishing these videos as there is a growing number of people interested in this branch of pharmacy. Wish you the best!
I've been a Pharmacy Technician for the past 12 years, what career opportunities are for techs in Pharmacy Informatics? (If it helps, I'm registered in Florida)
This was super helpful. Thank you for taking the time to make it! It was difficult to find a high-quality video on this topic.
I need your email dr. to ask you more about the pharmacy informatics resources and books
Very helpful and thoughtful.
is a master in health informatics useful for a pharmacist , and what universities would you recommend ?
Hi sir
Thanks ❤
Nice👌👌🙏
Hello thank you for sharing valuable information, I'm pharmacist from Iran and I'm curious about progress in any fields that relate to pharmacy so I need to your guidance, could you help me?
Great episode. Thanks!
Insightful, thank you Prof. Please can you drop your email
hi dr , thank u so much for u content , i am a pharmacist from Egypt and want to know how can i enter that field which courses and certificate which i need and programming languages ? how can i have an opportunity to work as remotely pharmacy informaticist ?
Thank you so much for breaking down this complicated topic into simple comprehensive terms for the laymen like me! Please continue to produce such awesome content.
I will do my best to attend it this year.
Thank you Sir for these videos
Thank you so much for putting this information out there. I want to be a pharmacist informacicist.
Thank you for your time and information!
Thank you very much for these free insightful videos
Thank you
Highly interesting topic
The dashboard things makes me wonder if the pharmacy at my hospital uses something like that. Whenever we need something fast like a STAT Levophed they’re always so quick. It’s interesting seeing how prevalent gaming has become in many industries. I grew up gaming and still do it but never thought I’d see it implemented how it is. The people who grew up on games are working adults now so I guess it’s not shocking they’re helping shape things.
Thank you. This helps my board exam
I'm doing msc in pharmacoinformatics.. What are the uses with this group. Also what type of jobs is available.. Please give information about this group.
Really useful - thank you! What resources do you recommend to learn more? Preferably freely available online would be great 😃
There are a couple of articles in the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy, and HL7.org also has some introductory information.
Please accept my apologies, there is one error in this presentation. Custom HL7 message segments begin with the letter “Z”; not with the letter “X”.

I realized when reviewing g this content that I erred when describing custom HL7 segments. Custom HL7 segments do not begin with “X”; they begin with “Z”. My apologies.

Would be great to hear more about informaticist jobs in different settings: hospital, vendor, consulting, start-up, etc
Very happy 😍💋 💝💖♥️❤️
I set my Google Nest mini to automatically read me the news as I brush my teeth in the morning :) Podcasts are also great too - I can listen to them during a run, just a more active option than sitting and reading
Great episode - you always explain everything very clearly and simply for a newbie informaticist :) This info is really useful
great video.....I really got inspired. I would love to hear about the IV robot invitation story
This will be very helpful to me when i have students on rotation!
I think it was Bill Smith, at Long Beach Memorial, that talked about the definition of a profession is to take and give back to your vocation.

Very informative series of lectures 👏
Wonderful video and thanks
Sir many thanks for making such informative videos on PI. Please give your opinion, what if we go for learning HL7? Will it be helpful for being PI?
Thank you Abdul Haq for your kind words. Yes, if you have the time and energy it would be very useful for the pharmacy informaticist to know the HL7 interface standard. For example, I have worked on interfacing ADC's to our EHR which included interfaces for patient admission/discharge/transfer (ADT) transactions, medication orders, and dispensing/charging events. At one point, we were having some major issues with patients not showing on the appropriate ADC machines, and I had to set up a task force to address these issues. As a part of this process, I had to look at and understand HL7 interface transaction messages to try and find the root causes of the lost ADT transaction messages. So, knowing HL7 was a great help.
