For Koreans, Arirang entails various meanings.When we had to endure hard labor in our days of poverty, we consoled one another with Arirang. During the arduous colonial era, Arirang became a symbol of resistance and served as a spirit beyond song, and during the World Cup, we sang Arirang as we let out our cries longing for victory.
For such a long time, Arirang remained as a song that has been immersed in the joys and sorrows of Koreans. Now, we want to share the Korean song ‘Arirang’ with mankind who are suffering from war, disease, and disaster through ‘2022 Hello K’.This is because Arirang will provide healing and comfort to all, just as it did to us.

그렇게 오랜 시간 아리랑은 한국인의 희로애락 속에 녹아 한국인과 함께해온 노래입니다.그리고 우리는 ‘2022 Hello K’를 통해 이제 전쟁, 질병, 재해 등 큰 아픔을 겪고 있는 인류에게 한국의 노래 아리랑을 들려주고자 합니다.우리에게 그랬듯 아리랑은 모두에게 치유와 위로가 되어줄 것이기 때문입니다.
