Fahrerhaus mit Dachverkleidung ? Scheibenwischer waren unten angeschlagen weil -Nockenwellengesteuert! Prinzip: je schneller man fuhr, so erhöhte sich auch die Wischergeschwindigkeit! Ich fuhr den Blitz mit Koffer für Brotauslieferung ,und Propangas. Die Flaschen waren links und rechts unter dem Koffer!

As an 18 year old student, I hitch-hiked from Bude to Manchester after working a Summer season. After hours without luck, I was picked up, just as it started to get dark, in a brand new black Mk2 RS2000. The driver was taking up a job at Lancaster University. He even detoured miles out of his way, to drop me off at a bus stop in Mersey Square, Stockport. I was home 20 minutes later. The best car journey of my life.

I got to test it one day and was going to try to turn quickly, about 50 km/h but the car overturned and ended up on the roof and we managed without a problem. We laughed and said this would have to be redone when we got it back on wheels. But the guy's dad was afraid we would hurt ourselves, so he locked the car in the garage after we flipped it over. It was a fun little car to drive back in 1973 😎👍

Nice truck, did it share a number of parts with GM vehicles, the engine looks very much like the GMC/Chevrolet 'stovebolt'. The Opel light truck and cars also had a similar engine. Back then GM was all over everywhere.
