When you did this did you tape off the stones or spray clear coat on the stones too?
When I did this spray coat I painted over the stones, I have since replaced all the stones with Cubic Zirconias
Would you releather belts if a good fee is offered?
I assume you shot the clear coat over the entire plate including the jewels?? Was there any negative outcomes from the clear coating??

@@j.bright87 thanks. Is clear coating your belt an idiot proof exercise. I assume you hold the can too close to the belt for example you can F it up?
@Nightrain76 it is very easy, I took the plates off of the belt, easy as to spray each coats onto the plates.
WWE Shop Belts are CRAP! If It's Not Fandu, ORM, or Macmillan, then they're not worth buying.

What size CZ stones did you use? When I measured it looks like the smal could be 3 or 3.25mm and the bigger ones 6 or 6.25mm.
The belt Ric flair brought to the WWF in 91' was the greatest looking belt of all time.

If you want the bolts covered do the restoning first as to not damage the leather.

They were back in day, these days WWEShop produces belts with much better details and twice to threes times thickness of the plates.

This one is cast replica, basically a PVD coating the gives it that gold look. My other videos on Acid Etched belts and gold plated over zinc.

Was the belt always a silver base? I always remembered it as full gold.
It started out as an all nickel belt (silver), then dual plated (Gold and silver), then all gold.

It saddens me that we went from have beautiful belts like this to the garbage belts they use these days, I will say the world heavyweight title Seth Rollins is holding is a huge improvement
Yeah these old Reggie Parks designed belts are classic that never go out of style.
The original Big Gold and the successors after WWE were using were all killing this version Rollins has IMO. I Would have rather them use the traditional BG with the network logo. Anyhow, good review bro. I'm a huge Classic fan.

Just curious - did they sell the full sized Winged Eagle belt at the super store? I tried buying it twice from the WWE shop and both times it got sent back. Apparently there are shipping restrictions to Australia for these. Be interesting if they were able to bring them over...
Yes they were selling a Dual plated and The Undertaker Signature Series belts. The problem with WWESHOP is the long flat shipping boxes, I tried 3 times getting belts into Australia, they now have a worldwide ban on shop for belts, they won’t ship outside of the US.

Is the figures inc spinner just as good as the wwe shop version
The shop version is better because the shade of gold used is deeper and you can also buy the Raw and Smackdown Sideplates.
I restoned my V2 and really love it. It's just so satisfying seeing the sparkles emitting from the belt. Eventually I'm gonna get into making leather straps too. Loving this hobby.

Real leather won’t crease or crack like the shop straps. It does deepened on how soft the leather is.

How did you get the wwe shop belt into Australia? I tried getting one and it got rejected at customs and sent back.
@warrenlane3541 I had the same problem 3 times with WWEShop and Fanatics, I got this one through Euroshop. The issue is the long flat boxes they use in the US, Euroshop uses a standard box, which is allowed entry into Australia
Needed a flashlight on it to enhance the glimmer of the CZs. Hard to see the effectiveness of the CZs with the lighting in the video. Nevertheless, it's a beautiful belt and the real leather and CZs gives it that prestigious look. I love it. Which glue did you go with? I used Gem-Tac on my first simple restone job. It seemed to dry a bit hazy. I then bought e-6000 and was more pleased with its results. Gonna practice restoning on a few other belts before I do my WHC. Something just occurred to me and I hope this doesn't happen. This belt has much to do with the McMahon family crest and with McMahon under investigation I hope they don't change this belt. I think McMahon deserves what's coming his way, but hopefully that doesn't cause WWE to do away with this belt.
I have used a flashlight before, should tried on this video to. The close ups between the two stones do help show the differences, I used e-6000 to glue the 6A cubic zirconia stones in
@@j.bright87 Any tips on applying the e-6000? Did you use toothpicks, or syringe or needle, etc? This stuff can get messy and it seems to dry kinda quick. I'm afraid I'm gonna be getting this glue all over my plates.

Where are the names of the previous holders of the championship ? Where are the names of the countries represented ? The belt means nothing now, just a brand name.
What previous holders? The 2023 World Heavy Weight Champion only has one holder now being Seth Rollins, possibly to be Cody Rhodes next if he choose to fight Seth at WM40 and wins
The belt would be ok except the big WWE logo in the middle. Don't really get the side plates with the skulls either🤔

which version replaced this one after 4 June 2001? I always thought the BE belt looked different by the end of its run - it seemed to look less gold and more coppery, but maybe that's due to lighting
The White Scratch Version 2, the only difference was a 2x5 female snaps over the 2x6, plate wise nothing changed. The gold plating towards the end of its run would have worn off revealing the nickel plating underneath.
