@alyshasum128 You are right! I didn't even realize that. I'm so use to telling my cousin the difference in cost on everything. I was lucky to have my cousin with me to bargain for local pricing. These vendors know though, they always have Cambodians abroad buying from them. I'll be doomed if they up the price, I love those stinky fish.

@vsonic86 Hello. My video uploads are a bit slow. I've been back for 1 month now. I'm so sorry about your experience with your mom. Definitely negligence on the airline. We left on 11/24/24. The very next day I was notified by my friend that all flights to and from Korea got canceled. I had a friend that left 2 days after me, sharing the same experience as you. The funny thing was she was able to book a flight to Thailand instead on her own expense. So they can fly to Thailand but not Cambodia which I thought was weird. About a week later, S Korean president declared martial law which canceled more flights. I'm looking to fly into Siem Reap next time probably a different airline.

@jaynorng1084 I honestly never feel fully satisfied with my visits. I just wish it could be a month longer. If you have a Khmer travel agency, you can have them do Khmer visa for you. I did mine for $50. Or you can wait to do it on arrival at the airport, last I checked 10 years ago it was $25. You must flaunt your Khmer speaking abilities though, to proof that you're Khmer. Khmer visa expire when your passport expire and you can visit all the temple free of charge. They're getting really strict with officers and agents at their airport, they're not allowed to take money from travelers. There're signs up saying that.
