Why SheFarers?
SheFarers Platform aims to promote gender equality on all type of ships, to support career development of women seafarers in worldwide and to create awareness on women's empowerment in field work of maritime industry in general.
MentorShip
SheFarers mentorship program aims to develop skills of women in the maritime work field with HeMentors and SheMentors all around the world. SheFarers designated a motto to encourage more women to the maritime industry which is “Better together!”.
MemberShip
SheFarers mentorship program is open to all maritime students, cadets, deck officers, ratings, engineers, naval architects, port and maritime professionals all around the world as starting over Turkey. SheMentors and HeMentors are invited to be part of mentees' development in work field.

Isn't it a positive discrimination? All companies look at your university grades, club activities, self improvements etc to hire you as intern or engineer when evaluation process. But this programme provides women privilege. Not acceptable at all. Men do not have that kind of opportunities!
