What would a bad Cannister purge valve cause? I have a very rough idle, when the car is in gear and at a stop it is really bad and it gets a little better when the ac compressor is turned on. I thought I had a vacuum leak, but I did not find one.

I did mine. 3.5 litres drained out, add 3.5 litres in the level check hole, you’ll have to start engine to allow it to fit. Get a pump and a long hoses to make the process easier.

You forgot about the tension springs. and how did you get the caliper back on without compressing the piston. the piston would still be out from the old-worn pads and would not fit over the new pads.

I’ve tried bumping engine to install AC belt at least 6 times. The belt on AC pulley always walks forward one groove at best and does not seat. I can’t figure out how to do this very frustrating and ridiculous design. Love my bmw though There has to be a trick I tried almost everything. Some cars are probably more difficult than others if alignment isn’t perfect in the same plane of rotation. I gave up ordered a crank socket to rotate it by hand and watch the AC pulley. It needs some extra pressure to keep belt seated in grooves

To check if your fan is working, remove the wire harness from the coolant temp sensor, the fan should start working.

Thanks for making this video, like you said in the beginning, most of these cars have disk brakes. Unfortunately, I thought the same thing until I pulled my tire off after ordering parts, lol! It was hard to find the right parts because most parts places don't pull up brake drums and rotors when you select the ES as the sub model.

Serious question, my 335d got some oil leak,i open the downpipe and its a lot oil coming from turbos. is there a leak from intercooler seal ? Can you help me with any suggestions and see what part i need replace 😢

I have a different model, but this video could have saved me $1,500. I replaced every component of my cooling system, but it was an electrical problem. Good news is my car now basically has a new cooling system!

That is NOT the fill point for the 4F24 transmission, I believe is for the air vent. That is why it takes you 1/2 hour to fill it. The fill point and plug are further back and is similar in appearance to the drain plug. It is easier to reach from the bottom then use the funnel from the top with a length of flexible hose placed into the fill hole.

Tbh tho you didn’t even resurface the rotors which you should if you’re not replacing them. To each their own.

LCI E61 2009 N47 Hi. Does anyone know or have faced such an error? ISTA wrote: DDE: Electric fan, starting. CODE: 0041F2. I did a test, but it doesn't turn. Maybe there's something wrong with the program. I installed the second one, nothing. Does anyone know what the diagram looks like and what elements work with the fan? Does the fan work with a relay? Or just a fuse? Will you help? I will add that the connection at the fan on the pins is clean and functional. The harness looks fine. No. What needs to be done to ensure there is current in the cable that goes to the fan. Maybe then the fan will work.

Hey I have a 2009 lancer and I believe I need to change this purge valve. Any idea where I can also find those bolts online as mine are very rusty.

i have all the strions but i may have to get a stinger too. probably the dual switch because im used to the strion being on the back

Any idea why does my transmission doesnt want to shift from 1st gear when my radiator fan doesnt work. 1st i had a hunch but then when i un plug the rad fan the gear wont shift and stuck to 1st, but when i put it all back together every thing goes smooth. Plus, i got intermittently issue with the rad fan not working, i got new coolant temp sensor.

Great job man just need to show the caliper being reset to accept the new pads
