This was brilliant scene. Anthony starts the episode scaring all of his siblings away. He realizes how destructive the whole "Viscount persona" he crafted after Edmund died is. He crafted it because it allowed him to do his duties and flee from his emotions.

Love this scene to the bone. Some interesting details. Colin covers the windows, likely to showcase he is trying to stop thinking about Pen. It also showcases that he is in the dark, both feelings wise, and dark about how she feels about him. There are no drinks, no foods, no signs on anyone else in the study. Giddy Colin is usually snacking and spends time with his family, sad Colin seperates himself and barely eats. Colin is reading the journal either to distract himself, or trying to make sense of these past weeks, perhaps find signs of him harboring feelings beforehand. When Colin turns to his mother, he notices his reflection in the mirror. Distressed by how sad he looks, he tries longes back on the chair, but fails and still sees the reflection. Colin basically gently sends his mother away not only because she is stepping closer to him, but also because she is stepping closer to the place in which Pen put a bandage on his hand.

I love the scene before when it is just Pen and Portia planning the wedding.

Soo awkward yet soo cute ❤ love this scene. I also love the scene later at Stowell house (very similar cute awkwardness) when Eloise says to Colin that she spoke to Pen. And he asks what did she say (hoping Pen might have said something about their kiss to Eloise, he is only thinking about that kisssssss😅). When Eloise says I apologized for revealing the story of you two, then Colin is like ohhh that (face with what ever expression) and leaves 😂😅

Although Colin was trying to grasp his feelings and pull himself together, I personally believe that apart of him decided to sleep on the sofa to protect Penelope from anyone entering their house at night, particularly Cressida or even the Queen’s guards. After all, QC was close in finding who LW is in the family and who says that she can’t just send some men to retrieve Pen for her. So I’d like to think Colin also sleeping on the sofa was so he could stand guard until the LW stuff was over.

Them asking if she's gonna hook up with Alex is so immature and disgusting. I can see Grace being that girl that is so sheltered at home that she winds up pregnant before college. Girl needs a proper boyfriend so she can stop being so thirsty and dial down all that boy crazy behavior.

I love how Cole instantly looks scared. Alex was so quick to get upset at her for thinking of leaving but Cole puts his own fear of that aside and asks her what she wants.

I hate this scene his parents don't even realize how much Cole has been there for Jackie. Cole certainly isn't perfect but it's about his potential. He just needed something to brighten his life back up after losing football and he got that in Jackie.

You could tell he was tempted to go to bed with penelope and have thier romantic moment then have thier much needed chat in the morning but he decided to act like a child and sleep on the sofa and you could tell he regretted it the next morning he wanted to wake up next to his new wife and have a cuddle with her

And once again Eloise has shown that she’s a horrible friend. Penelope literally saved her ass from Cressida and she won’t even bother to help her resolve things with Colin. I understand that Pen needs to mostly do this on her own, but my god she could’ve at least said to Colin that Pen saved their family from Cressida’s lies that night.
