If your friend's brother in law is swede too, that ghoul can only be Sodo aka the lead guitarist with white guitar
Its Papa Nihil every new album the band change their appearance slightly and the singer is a newer fictional version of the pope or papa as they call him the lyrics and imagery have been described as taking their inspiration from freemasonry and are anti Christian and mock Catholicism. The guy in the coffin is papa nihil and I think currently lead singer is papa emeritus 4th but its all part of the showmanship. Personally love the satire of it all.

Tobias said he wasn’t the best lead he rather have someone else lead. He just wants to play guitar. Fortunately that didn’t happen. Ghost would lose its edge. Ghost sound relies on his voice and outstanding stage presence mesmerizing the fans. It’s addictive and it’s all I play since August. They have become #1. Pure genius

he is Papa Nihil, or Papa Zero. He "dies" after the performance of Miasma on the last show of Prequelle tour. But they brig him back to life to play this sax part of the song (Ghost lore is very lengthy and fun hahah)
