Hiya do u share/sell the pattern for the large car seat pillows we are wanting to make and donate these to our local cancer society in Levin, New Zealand. Thanks
Thank you!
How long are the velcro straps, and how far from the center do you put them ? Specifying measurments will make the project MUCH easier
Thank you for this easy-to-follow video. I have a friend who is getting a pacemaker and I think this will help.
Thank you for this tutorial. I just made one for my friend and will give it to her tomorrow. It came together very well. Hoping she likes it. None were offered to her on her first visit so maybe I can make more for her to share. Thanks again!
Brilliant!
It that lighting outside of your windows. Thanks for sharing.
What width velcro are you using?
3/4"
Novice sewer, here! 🙋🏻 Thank you for this super easy to follow tutorial...🙏 Making this for a co-worker in pink camo/hot pink Velcro..
Love this...thanks!
It's a crochet hook. Not a needle. That way the newbies can find it easier. There are plenty of alternatives as well...a chop stick or kabob skewer for example
Thank you for this video. Im going to be making my mom a port pillow today. ❤️

This is such a good idea for people with a medical port and could also be used to buffer car seat belts. I'm short and my seat belt can rub against my neck. Years ago I had a fleecy thing to counter that but this would work too if I made it longer. Looks easy to make.
I always forget those in ppls cars. I'm not allowed to drive for medical reasons and use medical transportation. I use a small stuffed animal.....conversation ensues and ppl check to make sure she's with me.....great for neck support during mris and other scans, grabbing onto during blood tests as I'm a hard stick and grabbing her means no digging my nails into my hand while they're rooting around in there. She's a little wolf I named Luna, old Latin for the moon. She makes people laugh and smile when they see her sitting on my purse or poking her head out of my sewing bag. Kids talk to her...once an almost completely nonverbal kid. Her parents jaws DROPPED open. Sometimes I translate " her words" to them. And if the parents say it's OK she offers a piece of candy.....the smiles I get in waiting rooms, especially when the kids are having a bad day make it so worth it.
This is great! Thank you.
I recieved one of these at my infusion camcer when I had infusions every day for nearly 2 years. The seat belt always it exactly where it across mt chest. A chairity group made them and there was a basket full of them
I'm so glad you got one! I donate monthly to the chemo centers here in my town and have been for years.
Mi piace molto interessante brava ♥️
What do you recommend for a mommy makeover? Breast and tummy surgery!
Good Morning Danielle! I would definitely get the Post surgical seat belt pillow and since it's both breast and tummy the large My Surgery Sidekick (the one with wings).
How far over do you place the velcro?
Do you mean from top and bottom?
@@7stitches127 I am not sure how far over to place the velcro.
@@7stitches127 yes
@@jjones4377 About an inch to an inch and a half from top and same from bottom.....
This is the easiest video I have seen and its beginners friendly. I just lost my sister to breast cancer and I want to give back. My guestion is can I make this on a sewing machine? I don't own a serger?
You absolutely can make it on a sewing machine.....be sure to go back and forth several time over where the velcro is sandwiched between the fabric to give it a stronger hold. I'm sorry for your loss....Tons of {{Hugs}}
@@7stitches127 Thank You
Sorry for your loss. You can also use the zig zag stitch instead.
Just use the zigzag stitch on the edge after your straight stitch.
This is the most simplified pillow video....I really like the serger idea. Every year I try to pick a charity project to do and make my age number of items to contribute. This year I decided to do this project because a friend's daughter is going through treatment. Your video is really concise and well done. Thank you.
Thank You so much!!! And that is wonderful that you do charity projects....I love that!!!!
Thank you. I'm going to try making one for my mom.
How did it go? And does your Mom love it?
Can you please give the length of the velcro strips? Thank you! <3
So sorry for my slow reply....if your pillow is 4" wide I would cut the velcro about 3.5" and then if you need to trim it more you can.
@@7stitches127 Thank you!
where can I find the pattern ?
it is in the descriprion :)
your pillows (and your videos!) are super well-crafted!!!! -sincerely, your biggest fan
Will this work for a child too? What size elastic should I cut? I have plenty in my stash, but no hair bands.
Depends on age and size of child. It would be too big for a small child. You would need to cut it down. Any elastic will work.
@@7stitches127 What length of elastic versus a hair band?
@@deborahreiter5736, depends on how stretchy it is. Between 6-7" to give you room to tie/ sew or however you want to loop it.
I love your products, you are so caring. And real, true blue through and through, as they say 😀
I love the way you make this face mask. Thank you for sharing. I am making some from your video.
