Officially this is the best arcade song ever.

I love the momentum in this song, as well as the use of phrasing with the answering chords emphasizing the previous main rifts. Its actually more interesting musically than Vampire Killer to me.

I played the European version of Castlevania where the tempo is slower and the pitch is shifted, so hearing it like this feels so weird to me. XD

Well thank god a patch exist that replaces the original Stage 1 with this. Absolutely baffling that not only this wasn't used but they instead used a Stage 1 theme from a different title (Bloodlines). It leaves a weird first impression to an otherwise pretty solid game.
