I decided to delete my Instagram account on 8 Aug 2023.Instagram takes up so much of our time and influences us in countless ways. It practically consumes our hours as we keep scrolling and looking at other people’s lives, forgetting we have one of our own.The thing with instagram or any other social platform is that it makes us more comfortable and focused in other people's business.When are we going to look at our business?.Constant comparisons,unwanted contents,mindless scrolling,intake of useless and unwanted knowledge and all for what??? There are so many other ways to kill the time in a healthy way.Less contact with other human's life and business will help us to appreciate and understand our own life. Let me list down what deleting my Instagram resulted into So its been more than a year and 1.The world didn't stop 2.I wasn't left with nothing 3.Having no contact or not communicating with other people or my frnds didnt make go insane 4.I was stopped being influenced 5.I understood that there exists a whole different story behind the screen 6.Less screentime 7.Helped me to find my hobby 8.Made feel comfortable with way I am without the constant comparisons 9.Made live in the moment and not for the stories or posts 10.I pose for all my pics crazy coz it is not to be posed and I need not be worried about it and it is all only for my memories Deleting every social media was the bestest decision I have ever made and I will never ever regret about it. Initial stages of not using your phone made be quite hard but as days pass you'll figure it out. Anyone who's reading this.. Please don't be stuck with what others choose to let you see You decide what you wanted to see. I wish you all the best❤️🫂
