This eye piece is fixed to the unit. The Maven S.3 has a removable eyepiece but you would have to enquire with Maven as too whether any other eye pieces will work with it.

@trident8872 S.3S is available on the UK website at the moment. Like I say though you'd be best placed to contact Maven and ask about compatibility with other eye pieces.

@tar6805 yes there is an awful lot of rattle in some bipods. I don't think the rattle in the tier one is anywhere near the amount of the Cyke pod, for example.

@NBKmediaPRS The BattleAxe XL i believe isn't heavy fill rated due to its size. The standard BattleAxe should be fine.

@@jcprecisionrifle I figured the smaller one was okay for heavy, but I run a Gamechanger OG wax canvas with heavy sand. My bag is 14 lb.....and my rifle is 30.8 lb. retired professional Armwrestler here. :)

@NBKmediaPRS 🤣 Yeah the original BattleAxe double strap weighs around 10lbs from memory with Glass Crumb fill.

Yes i did and the Maven is still a great mid budget scope. But I had the opportunity in the states to pick up a Mark 5 (which are nearly £3k in the UK) at a really good price.. so I did.

@happyhunters1924 na the bolt doesn't catch my thumb at all if that's what you meant.. I do however sometimes catch my thumb on the safety when manipulating the bolt. Might just get a longer bolt knob to stop that

@afternoondelight6322 I can't see why not.. but the same as always steel casings could cause damage to the chamber so should probably stick to brass

@brianduffy5193 I think there's a bit of a misconception attached to chassis' that they are militaryesque.. they're just modern design and materials with up to date features.

@45forall thanks 😊 I haven't tried shooting it without the moderator for groups since it came back from being tested. But that could definitely be an option going forward to stop mirage effecting the groups.

@tomconachy2877 Yes it is free floated. Certainly the 55gr Sako wasn't great but the others were acceptable over 3 shots and the Sako 50gr at a .2 MOA group is pretty good. So I wouldn't say they were 'terrible'. The 4th and 5th shots i *think* are going to be largely down to the mirage from the moderator

@wantutri7225 my intention is to always use this with a moderator. I may look into a Tuner/Mod combination though thanks 👌 At the moment the Sako 50gr shooting a Sub ½MOA group is plenty good enough for some plinking and hunting 👍

@bullbars1822 yes as far as I'm aware. I have just found a forum thread with someone having exactly the same issues with Norma Tip Strike as I am with an entirely different rifle in the same month I purchased mine.... maybe it is just a dodgy batch? Two get a dodgy batch of both Hornady and Norma would be a massive coincidence although it would explain why the Sako is running fine and there is no consistent pattern between ammo manufacturers

@beavism305 yeah not the greatest of sample sizes unfortunately, but it does seem to like the Sako 50gr over a 3 shot group and I do wonder how much the mirage was then effecting 4 and 5 shot groups. In time I will try some heavier rounds as welln, now that I know it was the previous rail causing the original accuracy issues.

@@jcprecisionrifle it was finish (tooked the same stock as you did) but chassis in black. i put my own grip on it, and made a bergara 14R in it with the b-tuner vom vision on the troll. was great to shoot, but its sold and now i am waiting on the new production. also the pro chassis including the b14 bullbarrel in 6.5 is sold.. so i have no visions now.. ;-) i plan to do the next protject in a nice green (MOSS or so) and another hypbrid chassis comming as well. but will take it also in fde that time.

@@jcprecisionrifle I was planning to grab an AT-X but that turned into a multi-year wait for the AT-XC instead which I just got a few weeks back. I do miss the AT-LE, the Green was nice.

@TomColontonio the AW/AT/AX Chassis only comes in the standard length Chassis. The other options are only available in the R700/T3x Chassis.

Yes does make it a little trickier, but I think that was the idea for the finale and even when painted it only takes several solid hits and most the paint is gone anyway.

@joshuacarvalho5405 fantastic! The PRS UK matches are brilliant 2 day events and everyone gets along, goes out for dinner together etc. Bisley are due to hold a few more matches next year as well.

​@SammyMoore-tg5gs there's an entire Division for .308 shoots under both IPRF and PRS Rule sets (Limited ans Tactical).. so against those within my division there is no major disadvantage. I'm still learning so may as well shoot a cartridge that may be less forgiving if I don't do my bit right 👌

The V2 does address the few problems I had with the V1 and I've never personally had any issues with Tier Ones customer services having spoke to them a couple of times. Their monomounts are solid too.

@GunnyRabbit should definitely give it a go. I think there's a one day match at Bisley coming up and a couple of training days arranged by PRS UK

@kitsune4635 it comes in its own stock as reviewed. But it uses a standard Remington 700 footprint so there's a whole host of options for aftermarket Chassis. My choice is the Vision Hybrid 👍

@NBKmediaPRS still... I was much more consistent across the entire match so I'll take that over cleaning prone stages. The cleans will start coming thick and fast soon 💪 🤞
