Hello, my happy HikingSaturdays group! I promised a video on how to pack for a thru-hike, so here it is. There are a couple of things that I forgot to add to this:
1. Small multitool. You'll definitely need a small lightweight knife of some sort.
2. Raincoat. A cheap Frog Toggs for $20 will do. Just something lightweight and effective. You can even get those big poncho things that will go over you and the backpack. Some people prefer those.
3. Do NOT wrap your gorilla tenacious tape around a medicine bottle as you will never get it off. 😂 Which is indicative of its effectiveness at fixing stuff.
