Use to drive that road everyday when I worked at Dean Foods. That Road to Highway 75 was a bear back in the winters of 1977-78 and 1978 - 79

I worked at Flow Station 2 in 1989-90. There was a pile of dirt in Deadhorse with a sign stuck in the top of it that said “Highest elevation in Prudhoe Bay 19ft”😂

0:18 Holy crud, easy to see that I haven't driven down there in some time, there's a Kwik Trip there now? 4:20: Oh, it just moved, good, that town is swimming in gas stations on that particular street. Oh I remember that Pizza Hut, easily the best one I have ever been to. Next time you head there, you should drive down what's called Mondell hill....that's a great view of the river.

In the town itself you are correct, very few domiciles have garages and if they do its just to park a car, no tinkering room. On that road to Eaglenest the road divides. The right fork takes you back into a valley with multimillion $$$$ homes........with functional garages! But in all honesty Red River is a tourist town. Most folks are there to ski, fish, hike, relax.......not tinker.

Kingman is my hometown, and I attended the high school (1984-86) you passed by. My father worked as a correctional officer in the old court house jail in the 70's.
