FAITH EXPRESSIONS
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 9 ก.ย. 2017
Welcome to my Channel! Video presentations are spontaneous, practical, bridging faith and daily life. I strive to present, discuss, and reflect on everything about our Christian faith. The conceptualization was "faith-express= express-faith"; I mean, faith-express, to express/share/celebrate the faith; and express-faith, doing it in succinct yet understandable ways; thus, comes FAITH EXPRESSIONS. The videos are inspired by the liturgical seasons, or from conversations and questions of peoples, or topics of personal interest to me. The presentations are without script, there may be some errors in grammar or pronunciation, but the message is more important. My channel is personal, not connected to a parish or Church entity; it is my personal ministry online. The reflections are hoped to help, build, inspire, encourage all of us in our journey of faith and spiritual life as we live daily the faith and love of God - who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen
Homily 32nd Sunday Ordinary Time Yr B, Do God's Will Without Hesitation
We must trust God's will. Whatever He wills for us, it is for our best interest even if at the time we cannot understand it. The widows in the readings of this Sunday show to us that doing God's Will leads to blessings more than we can think of. We should not keep putting off to do the will of God. We cannot hesitate or worst be coward to do the will of God.

Homily 31st Sunday Ordinary Time Yr B, Love God and You will be Filled with God's Divine Life
มุมมอง 1Kวันที่ผ่านมา
Loving God with the whole of our being is God's command for us. Is it possible to love God with whole of our being?. It is possible to do so; if we imitate the priesthood of Jesus Christ in the ways of "going and coming" - the unlearning and learning/relearning, the way of self-donation, the way of fighting and destroying sin. Loving God will allow ourselves to be filled up ourselves with God's...

"What do you want me to do for you?" the question of our Lord Jesus to Bartimaeus; now this is also given to us. God has our best interest; hence, we are to ask what is best for us, especially in matters to our spiritual life - the courage to imitate Him. As Bartimaeus followed Jesus on the way, Jesus is The Way, so he lived the life of Jesus. He is our example to imitate Jesus.

มุมมอง 1.2Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Many times we are only concerned with what we think advantageous to us not minding that God is always wanting what is best for us. We are more inclined to the gold not to God; yet we know having God is having everything. We must always seek to know God more and to focus on what matters to Him. It is in that way that we can grow in love of Him; for becoming more in love of God, we will enjoy obe...

Homily 27th Sunday Ordinary Time Yr B, God Author and Designer of Marriage and Family
มุมมอง 61หลายเดือนก่อน
Matrimony and family are not human constructs; they are divine willed, designed, and created. God created male and female to be the building blocks for humanity; hence, it is God who calls them into matrimony to become gift to each in love. Disobeying God's design of marriage and family is not to honor God. Let there be deepened spirituality in matrimony and family life. Let us not be hard head...

Let us understand that God can teach us profound lessons of life when we accept and carry our pain and suffering, our crosses.

Very important for us Catholic Christians the belief in the real presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. The moment we take for granted His real presence, we will fall into many forms of disrespect and dishonor against the Him; while, if we firmly believe in His real presence, consequently, our mentality and behavior will be better. As we strive to be pleasing to God during the Mass, we will a...

Hello Father, Thankyou for The Angelic Trisagion, I have prayed it with you several times. I'm writing to ask you about the trafficking of children and women in the Philippines. I understand it is quite a concern there. I would like to help somehow in preventing this. I'm not well off, however ever bit can help. Can you recommend where I can send money to help. Or you may know someone who needs a helping hand. I'm from Australia, a pensioner. Yours in JMJ Terence Rushton

Here' a new twist on the trinity I hope you will really like. We believe God is the Father, he created us, Jesus the Son is God, man in flesh, and we believe in the Holy Spirit, the presence and power of God. Are they 3 persons and will you see 3 bodies in heaven? No they have 3 roles that are necessary for our salvation. allow me to explain, only a true human could die for our sins and could take our place and shed his blood. So Jesus had to be the Son of God in order to die for our sins. But in order for the Son to be born, no human could do that, God had to be the Father of that baby born in the womb of a virgin and salvation is not just because of what happened 2000 years ago. It has to be applied to our lives today, How does that happen God comes to us in his Spirit, so God's not eternally 3 persons named Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. But God has operated in our lives as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit for the specific purpose of redeeming us, or saving us from sin. So with that as a background 3 persons but 1 God would be a distortion because it interjects this idea that in the nature of God there is some separation, or distinction, or division which is not practical for these reasons, who are we praying to we need to know for sure, are we praying to 1, or are we or are praying to 3. When we get to heaven who are we going to see, are we going to see 1, are we going to see 3, that makes a difference who is our faith in and the significance of the name of Jesus we need to understand because when we pray in Jesus name we expect demons to be cast out ( Mark 8:26-29; 16;17 ); ( Acts 8:5-21; 16:16-19; 19:13-16 ), people to be delivered and healed ( Matthew 9:2, 22 ); ( Mark 16:18 ); ( Acts 3:6; 19:11,12 ), and to receive the holy Spirit ( Matthew 4:1, Mark 1:12, Luke 4:1, John 1:32 ); ( John 3:3-12; 20:22 ); ( Hebrews 9:22, Acts 2:38 ); ( Acts 2:4; 19:2-6; 20:28 ); ( Romans 8: 1,2 8:4-8 ); ( 1 Corinthians 2:14 ). But if the emphasis is on Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, then the name of Jesus isn't magnified and don't receive what God wants to give us. So there's a lot of practical reasons that we need to know the answer to this question and if there is any message in scripture that's emphasized it's in ( Deuteronomy 6:4 ) Hear o Israel the Lord your God is 1 Lord, repeated by Lord Jesus Christ himself. He said it you have to get that 1 right .
Our daily lives should be...to live lives of love...offer ourselves in sacrifice in the daily lives we live. Accepting suffering as sacrifice willingly...in doing Gods will. Fr.Thankyou for the reflection.
