Okay cup cars are in no way taken from a stock car of any sort there completely designed for nascar ground up with a body put on to look sorta like the real life road counter part

F1 is built on speed, NASCAR is built on endurance. Both sports have their strengths and weaknesses, every sport does. Comparing the two is like comparing cricket and baseball are both sports because they both involve sticks and balls.

Formula E is the closest thing we have to Podracing

Fe races on small courses that forces drivers to brake more and this allows for more over takes but its superficial. Put these small cars in Spa and there wont be any overtaking done

I'll watch an Indycar road circuit but oval racing is dull dull dull. F1 racing is always fun to watch no matter where they go. If I don't want to see cars that turn I'll stick to top fuel and 330mph machines.

I hate when these people compare pit stops, F1 has more guys for the formula 1 car, NASCAR has five people for the car.

Formula e is a magnitude more fun to watch. F1 has like pretty much 1 winner the whole season winning 80% of the races. While FE has a different winner every race. The cars in FE are more analog than F1 so it's more of a fight between the the drivers than the engineers. There was a race where FE had over 400 overtakes in F1 you'd be lucky to have 20.

Personal it is not aproprat to com pare F1 to nascar because they are two very drifrant thriving stilles

F1 is the driver vs. the track, and NASCAR is driver vs. driver in a 4 hour brawl.

Indy has races,they change positions and make a show of it. F1 , train racing like train on the railroad you know what the outcome is

The traditional transponder system puts out a signal that is cone shaped. There is distance over which signal once received will be maintained. I would say this is where the FIA gets the systems tolerance. If this is the case then the car can move a little and not leave the transponder's transmission boundaries. NOTHING to do with "pressure"

Why do people always bring up circuits when comparing these two? Indy car is much faster on a speedway and it's why people watch indy car. Who give af what the difference is on a circuit? If you want to see a car go fast around sharp turns watch f1. If you want to watch a car go fast in a straight line and slight turns watch indy. Top speed or turning speed. That's the difference.

Nascar is the pinnacle of Oval Racing F1 is the pinnacle of Open Wheel road course only races Indycar is the pinnacle of open wheen oval racing

Indycar + formula e > formula 1

Formula E also has smaller cars and the cars are more equal in power meaning that the races have a lot more overtakes and dogfights which I like a lot

My sugession for formula e is remove spec cars and give freedom to manufacturers. In 60s wec was a lot fun but f1 got more fun due to the innovations from manufacturers.

If you want top speed, you go with indycar, but if you like acceleration, that goes to f1

Great video brother, however a Cup car is nowhere near $25m. It’s somewhere in the $350k range to build give or take. Even still you can probably add up every chassis nascar allows for each team on Hendrick Motorsports and still be under budget of a single F1 car.

Both categories are exceptional. F1 will always be the Pinnacle of motorsports, but there's nothing like the Indy500 speed and competition.

The Indycar is the actual faster vehicle, unless of course you give the F1 car an aerodynamics package that doesn’t exist and redesigned the engines for ovals as every F1 fan so graciously points

Indycars are all regulated meaning built the same so its all about who's the best driver, while formula one cars are about who has the best car.
