I laughed a bit when the narrator said "I usually have these (choco chips, pecans) in my pantry" and in my head I said "I never keep those things in my pantry" because I eat them! Guess I'll have to purchase the ingredients and make the pie right away....then I'll have THAT to eat!

Mmmm, mmmm. I don’t keep chocolate chips in my pantry because I can’t be trusted to keep them until needed. They always turn into a snack when my addiction to chocolate kicks in. This is a pie I’ve never made. And I, like your husband, love pie. I will be putting the chips on my grocery list because this looks so delicious and I need to make it. Thanks for sharing.

This video is not meant to be a how to can or instructional video. It is only meant to encourage you to try canning and know that you can do it. The information I was given from Nesco customer service was to use the high setting for pressure canning. The low setting is for water bath canning. I encourage everyone to do their research. Thanks for all the interest and input.

If you are pressure canning with the nesco you need to do it on high. The instruction manual says use High when pressure canning.

Here's a question I can't find the answer to in youtube videos: Once the canning process is DONE and the canner is showing "OFF", do you have to unplug it for the de-pressurizing to happen? Can you just set it for 90 minutes of canning (quarts) and come back 2.5 hours later and be done?

I want to see this before the world ends. Just saying it could be any day now.
