This was our first trip to the Philippines and it did not disappoint! We dived with Sea Explorers on Malapascua Island and would highly recommend them. These thresher sharks come naturally to this cleaning station on Kimud Shoal. Our guide Rex, from Sea Explorers was great at finding a spot on the shoal away from everyone else diving that day and we had the pleasure of watching the thresher show for at least 15 minutes with three beautiful sharks circling and dancing before us. So many amazing encounters with Peacock Mantis Shrimp in Bali! We did quite a few sites with Gangga Divers at Lotus Bungalows Candidasa and every dive was superb. Can not recommend this dive operation and resort highly enough!

Amazing dive with 6 to 8 mantas buzzing us from all directions. Gangga Divers Candidasa are fabulous to dive wiith - highly recommend! Kadek and Gede outdid themselves placing us perfectly on the site to get this footage.

Ruben called this video from our last liveaboard in Komodo "Drift dives for breakfast". Personally I think it should be entitled 'But did you die though?'. Komodo drift dives can be hectic but we were safe and sound with our guide Yetno our buddy @markusschweiker7250 the crew from the Sokarja Liveaboard 🤙🤟

The Indian Ocean dipole has a lot to answer for....cooler waters rolling in dropping the temperature of the ocean from 28c to 22c degrees at some points and interesting current patterns. It was an interesting liveaboard that's for sure.
