More like zaxara the infinite. I used to play infinite xspell hydra combo. Now it's just xspell hydras. I'm not a fan of cedh but if u take zaxara and take out all infinite combos minus freed from the real it's actually really fun. And you can still sit down at a competitive table but still play in a friendly manner. It's wierd but it works

I recently started to realize that there's a bias and tendency of MTG, where most of the strong legendary cards are women, actually it's very rare to see a strong human male (except for the old sets), they could be demons, elves, goblins, but there are very few legendary men who are useful and current, there's also the sexism of making all the angels female and all the male demons, but in general it seems that arts where men appear are not liked by wizards (unless they are dying in a cruel way or are bulk cards)

gave this duel nexus a shot to try a cheap yugioh deck i was eyeballing to goof around at events as im tired of MTG.. every turn the computer took it dumped and refilled its hand and i felt like i was playing old school magic where degenerate madness was happening. i might still give it a go as what are the odds the players at nearby stores are spending 300 500 or 800 dollars on decks except when going to some high level event. i always thought MTG net decks where expensive....then i looked at the average current run yugioh high level decks...nearly a grand for most and over for others. konami really should create a current format that showcases their more recent releases and is good for new players and have a version of modern that allows all sorts of degenerate nonsense to be played. they already have a format which i looked up with rules sticking with 2005 era rules. banning cards is not enough if nothing rotates. it just jacks singles prices up to levels that average players cant reach.

I was looking for a video to teach me Magic as a Yugioh player and found this instead. Still learning, better than a tutorial cause its funny!

Honestly, I'm interested in mtg but 2 points in the game act as some pretty big learning hurdles for me, 1, in yugioh there is no dedicated resource machanic aside from some gimmick decks(I prefer hero decks personally) the whole idea of land and mana cards kind of trip me up in terms of deck building. 2, I'm a weeb and any game with customizable elements I play I always pick based on art or lore. (In magic I'll basically base my deck around card art I like) being a weeb I'm not a fan of non-anime-style art, are there any cards with some anime-like art or a similar type of art? (such as Disney style)

I play both games. I am more of a yugioh fan. Magic the gathering has plenty of "Exodia" win cards. Also I see enhancements as continuous spell cards Instant cards are trap cards Also in yugioh of you play toons they have summoning sickness The term top decking is used in both games

The first home brew commander deck I ever built was a Liliana Vess/zombie tribal deck with Liliana the Heretical Healer as the commander. Took me a couple years to upgrade and smooth out. Thanks for this deck tech. I have a prototype Nicol Bolas deck but it doesn't do very well right now. This video gave me a better perspective on how to make it better.
