Luke Baker

Luke Baker, from Houston, TX, is an accomplished orchestral musician and soloist. Luke has performed with the Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra in Japan, The Orchestra Now, and Allentown Symphony Orchestra, and has also served as guest principal horn with the KBS Korean Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra, Fort Wayne Philharmonic and Annapolis Symphony Orchestra. While Luke enjoys orchestral performance, he also has a passion for solo performance, and won the 2017 International Horn Competition of America University Division and the 2014 Meadows Undergraduate Concerto Competition. His previous teachers include William Purvis, Greg Hustis, Haley Hoops, Gavin Reed, and Holley Linder. When Luke is not playing the horn, he enjoys skiing, rock-climbing, and social dancing.
