The sets don't exactly make a distinction between an individual store and a franchise though. Calling Pan the "Speedy Panda owner" could just be referring to an individual store. And calling Lee the "store owner" doesn't mean he doesn't also own the franchise. It's unclear, imo 🤷‍♀️

Not really. At least, not in JTTW/Buddhism. You don't have memories of past lives. In Chinese mythology, before you reincarnate, you drink Meng Po Soup that erases your memories. There can be a scenario where someone avoids drinking the soup, but it's not supposed to happen.

What's even crazier is that, around a year ago, I actually made two different videos about Macaque making a deal with his powers. And you'll never guess what else I got right! Based on the S3 sets and some S3 concept art, I predicted that Macaque's powers would switch from purple-pink to red, based on his deal! And I'm currently working on a second updated theory video after watching season 5 :)

Lol no worries! He definitely didn't make a deal in JTTW, but I still think he made one in Monkie Kid. Firstly, it's hard to tell if his reaction in S5 was confused or defensive, in my opinion. It could just be that he did make a deal, doesn't want anybody to know about it, and so was upset when the Nine Headed Demon brought it up. The other, and maybe more likely, scenario, is that he did make a deal but doesn't remember it. As I've mentioned in a few other videos, there is a lot of evidence that characters' memories have been messed with: In, S3, Mei, Tang and Sandy say that they feel like they've been at the place the Samadhi Fire was split before. Someone asked David Breen (Story Producer, Writer, and Editor) if Macaque was killed by Sun Wukong and resurrected by LBD, and he replied saying, " _I think it's safe to say Macaque thinks that's how it went down. But as Tang says, 'there's always more to the journey.'_ " x.com/Davidbreen89/status/1491833346846236672 Not to mention that, in S5, the Nine Headed Demon literally said to Sun Wukong that they were enemies and old friends, but he said "you just don't remember". I know that last one _could_ be the Nine Headed Demon (NHD) referring to a previous cycle, but I feel like it probably isn't, based on how the NHD acted towards Sun Wukong. And, LBD said to Sun Wukong and Macaque (separately, in different scenes) that she'd erase the world's memory of them. Feels odd that the writers would have her say this twice, if it wasn't important.

Thanks! I definitely think that there will be more seasons, but I think there's a good chance that there won't be a season 5 special. This is just speculation, but I don't think that the new animation studio had enough time to do season 5 (which is probably why the release was pushed back). And if they barely had enough time to do the season, I doubt that they had enough time to do a special. And, seasons 3 and 4 ended on big cliffhangers, with the bad guys winning. And then those big cliffhangers were wrapped up by specials. Season 5 didn't end on a big cliffhanger - the day was saved and no one is in any immediate danger. There was even a wrap-up montage at the end. If there was going to be a special, I think that they would've ended it on MK sacrificing himself.
