I try to pick the White Sword while I am carrying the wooden sword but I can't. I pass over it, I press every button but nothing. Wtf? Anyone knows what's going on?

oh hell, I remember back in the day making it all the way to the 6th dungeon without a sword. Never could make it the whole way but man I tried.

Not really a trick, but it’s still cool knowing how much of an open world game this is. It’s amazing how people have beaten the game without swords.

Now play with the white sword and get 12 hearts to upgrade to the games supersword in graveyard. Then go back into cave and grab wooden sword and see what happens

I thought you were gonna do something glitchy. You need 5 hearts to get the white sword. You need bombs to get those 2 extra hearts. This was literally nothing.

You damn millennials never handled a real NES and there is no way you know what hard work is. I had to actually GET UP to turn the TV on, and I actually had to TURN the knob to channel 3, then, and ONLY THEN would I be able to SIT ON MY ASS all day and play this shit. Back then a console was called a DECK. I am so hard core.

I"ve seen people get to the final boss w/o ever picking up a sword. The weapon process tends to go 'get money -> get bombs -> get bow & arrow -> get magic rod

I did this way back when. Wanted to see what would happen if I got the white sword then the wooden sword. Constantly tried mixing things up to test skills, i.e. get the wand before anything else.

I know this is old but you can literally get the white sword, blue ring, and large shield in about 10 minutes before you even enter the first dungeon

This was the very first game I played when I got the Nintendo Entertainment System. It's been almost 30 years since then and it's still as magical today as it was then!

That's a lot to remember. How did we get through these games in the 80s? They're still no walk in the park today.

Why not get the wooden sword? For fun? Get the sword. Kill enemies. Get bombs. Save 30 Rupies. That's my "trick". Zelda is the best game ever made. Pick up sticks has nothing on this game. Boobs. ( . ) ( . )

Or you could just go for the master sword. Process works the same except you need to snag the power bracelet from dungeon 2 and make a be line for the cemetery. No bombs needed.

Back in the days of game genie 16 heart code from the start , was amazing to see the magical sword in the first labyrinth and the total destruction of the enemies. Lol it was complete overkill

I used to play that game for days at a time and I'm like pfft I know where he's going then I got confused when you got the bombs and was like ok? Then you found hidden areas and I've played this game since the Gameboy came out. Never found these areas.
