It’s not too difficult to open up one of those older consoles for modifications. If I were really hell-bent on a backwards compatible PS3 , I would probably end up, redoing the thermal paste, cleaning the internals, and then probably upgrading the fan and cooling solution. Heat isn’t too bad so long as you’re willing to do a little bit more than what was actually intended. Although, what does it cost to buy a PS 1,2 and then a normal 3? It’s bound to be more reliable to have all three different consuls separate than all in one

I think Vita is much better. It has built-in memory, it has a USB port, it is lighter, and I think you can put an OLED screen on the 2000 as a mod

I like the more compact design for the portability factor alone. Perfect for road trips or visits to random houses, as long as an LCD screen is mounted if no TVs are available. Also, TonyHax exists as an option to play imports and backups without the fear of damaging the disc drive, but I think a modded PS2 will be needed to install TonyHax.

The first Naruto really brings back lots of memories my mom got her first duplex we had no programs and my little sister was looking and found Naruto on Roku for free and me and her watched it all day.

the removal of the parallel port is not just on PS one thy are also on some of the later model PS and it was removed to prevent things like the gold finger that let you play burnt games

If you have an original PS1 with a parallel port, you could run an Amiga emulator, & play it's software directly from the CD! You can use a flashed GameShark module, & boot from it only using its onboard micro SD slot & loads the OS, & leaving all the PS1 system memory & GPU memory free, & you can load disk images from the SD card. The ROM can contain a whole OS that supercedes the original limitations of 512kn, by 10 fold or more, & the module will have USB mouse & keyboard support.

Sony really just be doing anything..they should've just made a dedicated handheld and do it right...rumor is their making one i think but it better be as good as the vita if not better and incorporate sd cards instead of overpriced proprietary cards..guess we'll see. If not the switch 2 will get my money next.
