The American Civil War was a large piece of the puzzle that built our country. I am a Civil War Reenactor, a member of the 4th U.S Light Artillery Reenacting Group and my goal is to share the history of the Civil War through educational videos of living histories, demonstrations, camp life and of course the battle reenactments. I hope you find these videos entertaining and interesting!
Old Bedford Village {ACWR Episode 5}
Old Bedford Village is where the past comes to life! Take a walk through history and be transported to rural Pennsylvania before it was transformed by industry and technology. You’ll relive simpler times as historical interpreters demonstrate the trades and crafts of villagers in preserved structures built during the 18th and 19th centuries. Artillery Training Weekend! {ACWR Episode 1}

Our first reenacting weekend of 2024. The 4th U.S spent Saturday and Sunday on the river bank in Apollo, PA where we trained on the cannons and learned some rifle etiquette. No context was given but we did host a gender reveal for one of our members. The chalk fired out of our 3 inch Ordnance worked really well and we hope to do more of these in the future!

I was there this year on the side of the Confederacy! South Mountain Horse Artillery, y'all probably saw the smaller bronze colored cannon. Or didn't but regardless I had a great time!
