'Sailing Poland' - A Volvo Ocean 65
'Sailing Poland' is a Volvo Ocean 65 yacht with a proven track record in offshore racing. Built in 2014, the yacht competed in the Volvo Ocean Race as 'Team Alvimedica' (2014-2015) and later as 'Mapfre' (2017-2018), winning several legs. Since being acquired by Sailing Poland in 2018, the yacht has continued to race globally in events like the Rolex Fastnet Race and RORC Caribbean 600, achieving top results, including:
1st place in IRC One at the 2018 Rolex Fastnet Race.
2nd overall in IRC at the 2020 RORC Caribbean 600.

This cat have clearance below than 1 m. so very hard to sailing high speed in 15n of wind, even 2-3 feet waves will the bridge slamming ... Isn't it? High clearance need to provide to get more faster, than any charter cats having luxsure heavy bridges. They usually reduce speed even in 1-2 feet waves...
The ORC 57 has 1.07M bridgedeck clearance. Perfect for it's size and higher that the vast majority of cats in that range.

yes,... very much faster than the monohull in the video with headsail flapping and towing a dinghy!!!! The catamaran looks awesome but its a bit of a cheap shot to compare with that particular monohull,.... weakens your position I think

Sails much faster than an Outremer, is considerably cheaper, but interior finishing is less fancy (also for weight management). Do you have rotating mast on Outremers?
@@FranFerioli Aren't they both good boats? And I do think you can get Outremers with rotating carbon masts.
@@angela1984a I'm not a super expert (but I've been on a TS5). My impression that they are both excellent boats, but quite different in purpose. More comfort and luxury vs more performance.
