เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 6 มี.ค. 2021
Milo on the Ready is a channel dedicated to becoming a more prepared individual. Our goal is to teach new people about the gear, supplies and skills that are needed in cases of emergencies. We will hopefully release at least one video a week pertaining to becoming more prepared.

YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN
Don't expect help if you have an emergency now days. People are too self absorbed to render even simple assistance in a situation.

Who the Hell Decided Snaps!!!!
มุมมอง 478 หลายเดือนก่อน
I decided to upgrade the straps for my first aid/trauma kit that I carry every day. The snaps failed, and had I not had extra keepers on the kit, I would have lost it long ago. I hope that this shows you a better way to secure your gear.
Being Prepared for the Small Things

What could have been a major issue was mitigated with being prepared for what could happen. Please use this as an example of how you can better prepare.
Browning Kukari Review
มุมมอง 11211 หลายเดือนก่อน
I have been wanting to get back into some knife reviews, and I thought I would start with another selection from Browning. It is made in China, so we will just have to see how well it does.
Can You Maintain Your Gear?!?
มุมมอง 37ปีที่แล้ว
The issue I ran into is a minor inconvenience to me right now, but it could mean the loss of a piece of vital gear in the future.

New Bike Day

Upgraded my bike, getting features that I was not able to get with the old one. I still have the Rock Creek 29, but Lone Wolfe is now using it.
One of the things I have been spending my time on
มุมมอง 254ปีที่แล้ว
This is just one of the things that I have been doing that has kept me from getting alot of new content out. It has been hard to think about making videos when there is so much that needs to be done right now.
Having a Food Saver

Water Bottle Holders for the Bug Out Bike
Good info during the pandemic lockdown they were getting hard to find
I worked there in 1988. When a bad can blew in the cooker we just ate it. The stuff was great hot out of the pressure cooker. I started out in the cold grinding room but got moved to the end of the line because I could stack full boxes of canned meat all night while keeping the lots straight from the cookers. I loved that stuff but may have been really hungry from stacking boxes full of the stuff 12 hours a day. I worked for a butcher before that and it looked like 80/20 but who knows what it is today. 1988 hamburger at the store looks way different than it does today.
That's insane
I made for dinner and man!!!! It has such a weird smell and taste. Just 😝
Salute Milo hows Fatman prepping your roommate or old roommate haven't seen him in a minute on here now probably about 2 years now hopefully he doing well though. And if he still has a TH-cam channel drop it in comments ill subscribe to him

Greetings from Louisiana
Hello there!
I have 4 cans of the beef and 2 of the pork. My neighbors got them from the local food pantry and gave them to me. They said it was an acquired taste. Man was they right. I made spaghetti and I t was awful. It tasted more like cardboard than it did beef. Now I’m searching for recipes. All I can say is, spice to taste. Don’t just assume it’s a hamburger replacement. It is not!!
Good tips
Thank you. I know this might be a small thing, but if I hiked a mile, and find out something fell off my pack. . . . .
I'm glad you were prepared. Like you said, it could have been worse. Much Love ❤
Greetings from Louisiana Milo
Makes good tacos too
It's been awhile good to see you
Glad your doing ok
Bicycles will def be an asset. Much Love ❤
Just found your channel while watching an old live of Calamity Girl 🙂 First of all, Thank You so very much for Your service from the bottom of my heart 😇 My son is an Ohio National Guardsman who is currently in Jordan. Second of all, I love this video!! Did not expect it to break!! LOL
Thank you so much!
Wow!
You've probably replaced these by now, but a piece of rubber between the clamp and bar would help.
Did have the rubber piece between. They just didn't have the clamping power needed to hold it in place.
Greetings from Louisiana
Thanks for coming
Thank you we always clean and repair our camping equipment after each trip. I think we need to check our equipmdnt more often especially since we live in a very humid climate
Good review, how does that test the flashlight test? I was told you should take a good strong flashlight. Put it up to the packaging and you should not be able to see any light come through as that can help deteriorate the product overtime faster.
These are sealed up in mylar pouches, so no light will get through. Food should be stored in a cool, dry, dark place whenever possible.
Shoot me an email at MiloontheReady@gmail.com Would love to get back in touch with you again.
That is a great idea, kudos to you for coming up with that.

So happy for you and milo

Don't worry bro you're not the only one going through a shitstorm. And yes are dogs are the best thing to help us through

Hi Milo!! I love animals!!! Nice bike....Have a great time on it...blessings to you..
And blessings to you!
Very nice I hope you all kinds of adventures
When the weather cools down, Milo and I are coing camping with it.
Thanks for the update. You can't beat a source of free heat. It's ok that you haven't had time to post.I haven't had time to watch much. I've been busy in my garden and preparing all I can. The only reason I have time right now is that it's too hot to be outide working today. Low 90's here today. Much Love ❤
I think that we are all looking at what is going on in the world right now, and even though we are prepared, we think that we are not prepared enough.

I bought an off brand vacuum sealer just over a year ago. It has saved me so much money. No more freezer burned meat, can break down large blocks of cheese, I also use it for my dehydrated veggies from our garden
I think they are great to have. Anything you want to protect, it will do the job.
@@miloontheready7814 also I don't like plastic in my meat so I make a lose pouch of wax paper around meat then into vacuum sealer pouch.
Soylent Green
Far from it.
I watched it 2X ~ does it have a tourniquet? Did I miss it? Thanks.
No, it is just a basic first aid kit. There is lots of room for additional items.
Did you see the 1 bear independence sells?
Nice pack!
For the price, it really is.
Blessings my dear brother
And blessings to you also
awesome
Lookin good you two!
Well, don't know about me, but Milo always looks good.
👍
Smal but nice 👍🏻
And really easy to make too
Thanks! That's a great idea! I save the wax from my burned out candles to make my fire starters. I have enough saved up to do about a hundred rounds so I'll be doing some of these also. I'll do some like you did on some and I'll try braiding 3 strands to see what the reuults are. Much Love ❤
Because of this, I tried a carzy experipent. Video coming out soon.
I make my own also. I have gotten alot of wax from garage sales
I get mine mostly from big candles at thrift stores.
What about knotting it throughout to make it burn longer? What kind of wax did you use? Thanks.
Thought about that, but actually will braid three pieces together instead. A large knot, and three strands to soak up wax.
Good info 👍 Thank You.
I don't like to see people take advantage of preppers. That's why I do this.
Hilarious. Well, just keep at it. What ever you are preparing for will come and go, but you will be OK cause you are focused on chopping up that branch and won’t realize what is going on. 😂😊 thanks for the humor
I buy a 4 pack of bics once a month. Much Love ❤
The store I went to for check cashing was selling off the small bic stick lighters for 99 cents each. I bought them out. Now I buy the five packs every other week.
