Slow and stable video . Super ! 11:25 - To draw bobbin thread up push its loop over foot. Pull. Then put that same loop AND needle thread under foot and PULL. Took me four times then succeeded.

My Singer 4166 has passed away. I've used it for about 5 years for home projects, not that much. The machine was regularly cleaned, lubricated and adjusted in the workshops. Suddenly the needle stopped moving to the programmed position. Stands not in the center but to the left or to the right, even for a straight stitch. I took it to repair. They could not fix. Now it does only straight stitch, even if I choose other programs, even zig-zag doesn't work. Before this one machine I have had Singer Quantum. A very moody and unreliable machine. I have finished a six-month sewing school with a certificate long time ago. And have had several sewing machines. Russian "Podolsk" with an electric drive, simple, but strong like Kalashnikov. then White, but the Singers were the most unreliable. Disappointed. Forced to buy a new Janome. Singer quality is getting worse and worse.

I have a question! Whenever I lift my foot from the pedal (after sewing) my machine sews 5-6 stitched by itself. How do I fix this?

The manual can be found on the Singer website at: www.singerco.com/uploads/download/1289_4166-e_f_s-complete.pdf. The White D'Lite is the same as this machine and will work for it too. I'm really happy to have found this video.

When I push the bobbin winder to the right, my light turns red. I have it exactly threaded as you do. But when I push the bobbin to the right to fill it.....the red light comes on. Any solutions??????? Thanks.
