❤ This is my first video of yours, and I love your soft spoken voice:) I was looking for other lovers of moleskine.. They are by far my favorite brand of planners/notebooks. I noticed that you have an erasable pen (I forgot the brand name).. Word of warning.. I used the same pen in a previous journal of mine.. And when I recently went back to that old journal to see what I had written, most of it had disappeared. I realized this ink is sensitive to heat! Just beware.. I was so sad when I literally had an old full journal of blank pages 😢 anyway I am a new sub and look forward to the rest of your videos! ❤

You have such a beautiful energy. I adore moleskine notebooks. I'm currently using pen+gear as my on the go but my moleskine stays on my desk. I write mostly poetry and essays but I agree about having a place to track word counts, notes and plot points.

Thank you for doing this. I took away some excellent tips and appreciate how functional the use of it appears. I also have a modified bullet journal that is simple and useful but, like you, have gone through many failures.

When in search of a solution and this video surfaces on my feed😮 Finally a realistic planning video with simple options! Planner videos are so saturated that it seems like influencers are competing to outdo the other causing us to buy all the things. I can’t keep up!! I wish I’d come across this in Jan instead of July 2024 and 7 planners later 😢

I love this! I also find that I feel more comfortable in pocket. If the journal is too large, I end up not using it.

What is the plastic sleeve called that you have also? I like the idea of having something like that but can’t find it on Amazon.

Your writing is way neater than mine. My wife says my writing is about as neat as a chicken scratching in the dirt.

It's nice for you to be transparent about your journaling journey, it's never rainbows and sunshine and changing your daily routine is nothing easy, nobody talks about this and make it as if it was nothing out of the ordinary for them. I believe you are doing a great job of explaining and showing your progress, I'm starting journaling and I like to hear it's not easy for everyone!

I have a classic moleskine for Journaling in a travelers notebook...I take the moleskine elastic and bring it to the inside of the moleskine cover to get it out of.the way

Thanks for sharing! I am a small notebook lover. I'm finding that in this season of my life I don't have enough time to fill up an a6 spread like I used to. The smaller pages seem to work better because I dislike lots of white space in my notebooks. I currently have an A6 stology that I love but can't keep up with it like before & have since switched to a tiny pen & gear comp notebook, I am LOVING. I think I'll try the pocket moleskin to see if that size works for a planner 😊 thank you!

I have been using this cover for a month n it’s wonderful! I have 3 inserts, one wallet insert, and a small monthly planner. Also, I need you to read me a bed time story 😅 your voice is so soothing!

Tish I just loved your video it was inspiring and your voice and presentation is really relaxing and soothing! Almost like ASMR. I love smaller pocket notebooks too as an artist and writer. So fascinating to see how others use notebooks and how they look! Cozy mysteries are a lot of fun. -Aaron.

The particular notebook that you were using was meant for being used for anytime of weather...Like rain, snow and wind. Their website explains that collection was specifically made for it. The cover and pages are slick like plastic. You have to use a permanent pen like a sharpie. It's supposed to help you not have worry about your notebook getting messed up in bad weather. For example, if you like to go hiking, camping or even swimming, you might want that type of notebook. You could try their other notebooks, if you want "printer" type paper. I missed their Valentines' Day freebie...I wish that I could have gotten it. I actually prefer dot grid or lined grid, but I could use any type of page layout. 😅

I’ve gone back and forth from A5 hobonichi, B6 Roterfaden, field notes in a chic sparrow and I wanted to go back to a moleskin for everyday minor stuff…the leather cover is perfect for that! Love your videos.

Oh, I didn't know that Field Notes contains plastic. That is why it doesn't take gel pens, makes sense.

You have very neat hand writing, and well organized notes.

Thats really good paper. I could not see any bleed through from the ink. Thank you for the tip about gel ink. I love gel and would have smeared it all over my pages!

Be careful not to leave your notebook anywhere too hot: the ink in those pens is also deleted by heat

What a wonderful video! I have much preferred using pocket notebooks instead of big ones as my "idea dump"/research collection tool. I think bigger books always felt empty and unsatisfying. Plus they werent as portable. I can carry my current little book around and jot down ideas. I found writing down ideas helps ky brain work on them when im away trom the content, much more thwn typing it into a notes app.
