Hi Carol. My husband loves the actual sailing part of cruises. Can you tell me about what time we start sail from each port? (Koper, Zadar, Dubrovnik, Kotor, Corfu, Olympia, Santori). From watching other videos it looks like sometimes all the sailing occurs over night which means we would miss the sailing portion.

Sorry for all the negative comments below. This was very helpful and informative. The narration was really the key, not so much the photos. There are plenty of people who post home movies of their Viking cruises who don't provide any background on what they're showing or discuss the options. As a 3-time Viking cruiser, I found this very useful. Thank you for putting it together.

My great, great, great, maternal grandfather was Wm Henry Seward, Secretary of State under Lincoln. He was the man Lincoln sent to buy Alaska from the Russians. Hubby and I want to cruise to Alaska and see Seward as well as the rest of the state. I’m so looking forward to it.

Are there 3 wheeled bikes available?

When I booked my cruise I asked about London. I was told there was not anything in England...I m so disappointed in this as after my Paris cruise and 3 day extension I am planning our trip Germany and England on my own.. very nerve wracking. Fingers 🤞 Looking forward what Viking is offering but a bit frustrated.

Love your presentation. I will be on this same tour in '24. After listening to your presentation, I can't wait for the fun to begin. My only worry is our flight from California to get us to Avignon. I am worried for cancelled flights to get there on time.

My wife and I have enjoyed Viking cruises to Iceland, Scotland, Norway and the river ship on the Danube. We are booked on the Viking Polaris from Toronto to NYC this coming August. Covid shots have been required on all of these trips, but October 1, 2023 will no longer be required by Viking. We had invited a couple to go with us; however they had not had Covid 19 shots and had to cancel. We have booked excursions that are not included [$1000 extra] and also the Submarine [$1000 extra] and I think this will be our trip of a lifetime. Our concern now is all of the wildfires in Canada are continuing to burn out of control. On board the Viking there are many things we enjoy, especially the live music of Violin and Cello, Guitar and piano and vocalists.! The lectures are also excellent, and the Explorers area. Food and crew are always outstanding.en We are also booked for Viking Saturn Athens to Spain over this Christmas with our Son and his Wife.

Thank you. We're headed there in November, then on to Paris and the second half.

How come no meals are included on the first two full days and last two full days? The Reims excursion is nine hours, not even a snack is provided!

We took the Viking cruise. The ship was crap. The smallest rooms I ever saw in my life and way too expensive. The dinners were horrible. The only thing that was any good was breakfast and lunch.

We just returned home from this cruise. It's a wonderful trip (we were Barcelona to Rome). We posted the highlights of our trip here on TH-cam. This is a trip we'll worth taking.

We booked thru Viking. Got NO onboard credit. The thinking is that if I had used an agent, I would have received some credits. Next time.

I have enjoyed 5 Viking River cruises in the past 16 months and I must be honest, this tour was never on my to do list. I traveled in Provence many years ago and thought I had seen it all. You presentation was so wonderful I can’t wait to book this cruise with Viking. Well done!
