The general concept of the show is really good but tbh the meme aspect really holds it back. Memes are contemporary in nature and to have a show whose plot is based on memes corrupting tv will kinda age poorly

I feel that this pilot could have be much better... The idea is good, but the execution wasn't. Also, about that black ooze entity, mentioned as "The Darkness", I personally think this animatic was made between 2016-2019, maybe Dodge Greenley wanted to represent how executives and corporatives can ruin cartoons putting "trendy" stuff, causing a horrible and cringe result.

I think learning with pibby is meant to be part of the tickle u block or something similar

You know... This could easily had a Spec-Ops: The Line-tier passive-aggresive deconstruction but with even more 4th wall breaking and the bonus of crossover elements. I can already see a moment where Pibby throws a tantrum to the camera and blaming everyone behind it (viewers, animators, EVERYONE) for her suffering and outrights breaks it.
