I've found Claude to be much more capable of emotional reasoning, it helped me reach a breakthrough I've been searching for for over 10 years. ChatGPT is probably better for when you need to have something to just listen to you and process them, whereas Claude can find the underlying patterns for deeply rooted complexes and make them known.

Great topic, I've been using chat gpt this way myself recently and I've found it super helpful! It does feel like writing in a journal that is also a sort of mirror for my thoughts. I've been very surprised at how effective this is. Specifically it helped me change my morning routine and be more on-time for work

I dont want to see any ads if i am paying perplexity and because much of the value is in their pro plan i dont see how they will push ads to people that dont want ads. On free tier yeah but people dont pay because dont find value or dont have money so thats a bust as well. Lets not forget that they are using openai models, any time openai can decide to request payment from them like google pays apple. Another wrong perplexity dosent have 200M+ users.

I specifically signed up for ChatGPT for this feature and I've used it a ton for both writing and coding. For very, very short writings, such as articles, this tool is amazing. For writing larger things, such as non-fiction books, it's worthless - or maybe I'm using it wrong, so here is my workflow: New Conversation (ie: Book) -> Each canvas is a chapter in said book: After 4 chapters, roughly 70k words, it starts to slow down significantly. After 6 chapters, it stops responding while the fans in my desktop start spinning like crazy. For coding, it's roughly the same. A conversation is the Application/Program/Project, a new canvas should be each file. After about 8 "files", it starts to slow down significantly. The most annoying part with coding is when it just stops writing the code (~ line 200).

I’m hopeful that this model can be used for a non-fiction book that I am working on.
