Just a little update of the voxel from "The Loop" as we are slowly progressing towards the final. This version runs at 17 fps on standard Amiga 500 with subpixel precision on camera rotation and leaning, just like the compo-version, and now has temporal dithering for a smoother look.

This is a quick video of a proof of concept that I did tonight. It shows you how I started an old cracktro and the game Turrican 2 from within my browser on the Amiga (here WinUAE). This could be useful to organise and launch your WHDLoad titles, esp. with the ever faster Amigas like 68060, Vampire, PiStorm, etc. Launching games and demos from a browser is possible! Server: Python 2.0, running ...

Unboxed my A1200, which was perfectly fine (and recapped) when I put it in the boxs a few weeks earlier. And now the sprites are broken, including the movement of the mouse-pointer. What went wrong?

I remember talking to Sleyer and Jazzcat about this demo. I said that party version was not very dynamic for a Haujobb demo. Now.... I love it. 100% Adrenaline, 100% Haujobb(&Ghostown). ;)

I believe I have the same issue on *2* A1200's. Could you help me shed some light on what was wrong with yours, so I can have mine fixed? :D
I sent it to a hardware guy. He suspected Lisa or Alice and it was Alice! We had to get the chip replaced. He said he already had 4 cases like that. The likely cause might have been my own sloppyness when quickly connecting the monitor to the video-port while the Amiga was on. Don't do that! There is a line that can and does fry Alice.

Unfortunately that's how it's always been. I often competed in the music category at Dutch demoscene parties in the late '90s, and if you knew no-one and your music wasn't a loud monotonous ripoff of something locally trendy, you didn't stand a chance.

interesting - but would it be any use on a real Amiga? Maybe if you had a network of Amigas and a Server, and could remotely launch a game? But is real Amiga hardware able to connect fast enough via ethernet etc?
