I lived in Topeka for the first 32 years and still frequently visit my family there. Please do your research before moving to Topeka. I feel these realtors are not giving Topeka the whole picture. I’m very picky where I stay in Topeka for multiple reasons. So please make sure to do your own research

Looking to rent for awhile, look around and then buy property. I cannot find any agents to help with rentals. All the " Property Management " Companies do not get back to you and no one wants to talk on the phone... all online, where i have found some rentals, pay for an application only to be told ( on line) that it's been rented already.... Why is it so hard ?

For work, my KS office location is Overland Park, but I don’t need to get into office every day, rather rarely. So we are thinking of a likely move from PA to KS, unsure of location at this time. But dabbling bw Topeka, Lawrence or some area of Overland Park

Thanks for the video. As someone who is gathering information about mid-sized Midwestern cities, my only comment is...yikes. The property taxes in Topeka are wildly higher than comparable properties in, for instance, Springfield, Missouri. And the extra $2K per year could be spent in Branson.
