Attoclef - Alice in Excelsis Deo
This "ascension" of sorts was not one any had intended, but one found to be irreversible and absolute. A pastel blue girl, unbecoming of a godheid, now engages in hedonism at the expense of all creation. Her name is Alice―The one and only. Should any so called "Alice" cross her sight, they will have never existed.

If Alice is put in a position of godhood, shouldn't the title rather be "Gloria in Excelsis Alice" It doesn't really have a dative form because it's not a Latin name, but if it's meant to parody the Christian Hymn then shouldn't it take the position of "Deo"? Make it a bit blasphemous too to match the hedonism, like "Plus Gloria in Excelsis tibi, Cara Alice" - "More glory in the highest [degree] to you, dear Alice." I feel like what naturally progresses from this is a fall from godhood. Like "Nefas! Vale, Impius Alice." - "Horrible! Goodbye, wicked Alice" where Nefas is an interjection. Idk why, but I'm kinda reminded of Catullus for some reason. He called a lot of women the equivalent of slut in his poetry.
I did have to think about it. The title does match the "Alice in X" naming convention, but unfortunately, doesn’t translate correctly into Latin. (Becoming "Alice to God in the Highest") But the way I think of it, this Alice would have seen the original title and incorrectly think: "Who's Gloria? This is all about ME!" in her rewriting of it. Or at least that's my excuse to justify both ends :v

I love the original Alice in Wonderland books and I enjoy seeing other people's versions of Alice. The way I see the idea of an Alice "ascended" is for that Alice to comprehend the function of a wonderland. This Alice is enlightened with the understanding her existence is fictitious. She's aware that she exists within a non-sense literature, and weaponizes her understanding of the world to become a tyrannical holy figure. By infinitely prolonging her character arc, she'll never have to leaveーas why would she want to? The world exists for Alice, and her position can only be challenged by another Alice. But by occupying the Wonderland space no other Alice can explore without risk of fatal divine intervention at the hands of The One True Alice.
