Just beautiful work.
非効率であるからこそ ここまで美しくできるんだろうな
Wow that Voive is so annoying
So wise to designate the tools as well as the work. This art is timeless.
👍👍👍👍👍
My guess is this is all about the love of the work. It's literally a production of quality and there's no way your going to get it's true worth reflected in it's price.
A wonderful video. I think the Japanese are probably the world's best craftsmen. In Europe only the Swiss come close I'd say.
You may consider Meissen porcelain, Venetian glass, filigree, etc., etc...
dit is nu echte kunst, geweldig
How do these people make a living?

I bow down to the tradition, crafts and people for their respect to culture, care for nature and dedication.
I Just learned that I was born with 2 left hands.
Artisan works of Japan are a wonderful tradition.
Just saying unbelievable prosses
kewl
great skills and creativity, glad to see other woodworking traditions been up kept.
Great art and technics.
What exactly am I looking at @1:50? Is that a picture of a cockroach?
The text says early Jomon period (so Japans pre-history say 10,000BC) and Ishikawa Prefecture Buried Cultural Properties Center so probably something found in an archaeology dig. I guess it is part of a plate or bowl.
Admiration and respect.
SPLENDID VIDEO!!
This is a really interesting video - I'm surprised there hasn't been more comment. The first 5 or 6 minutes are a bit generic, but after this, the portrayal of the manufacturing techniques is truly fascinating.
fantastic
it repeated once
日本職人よりいい職人がいない。 this is the absolute best in craftsmanship.
