Much more better intake is from PD150 (ASZ engine code) its all aluminum, bigger and bolt on on all ALH’s Then u can upgrade camshaft just by taking the stock one out of 1.9sdi (diesel without turbo) and putting it in ur ALH

My AHU did that too, not the whole valve, just a small chunk out the edge, did plenty of damage though! i was gutted, that engine was running sweet until it wasnt!!

What if you just need the boot CV axle I bought new from vw I put about 20,000 miles on it did not make noise but boot got a tear in it and started leaking can you take off the end without having to replace it

I've used a glove over the pump head. It held on, and didn't slip for the whole job.

Got this motor in my late dad's 02 Dodge Dakota pickup. Its all stock and granny driven. One i noticed, on a one lane highway, she dont have no power to pass up other cars. Need more power. Im thinking of a Garrett turbo.
