TH-cam has recently become my passion project as I love gaming but have found that time commitments limit my ability to sit down a play traditional games. As such I have gravitated toward the mobile gaming experience. I realized that there were no platforms similar to an IGN or Gamespot that covered these games. Realizing that there have to be others like me looking for this kind of content, I decided to do it myself!

I did not know that a) Netflix does games and b) Hades got ported to IOS. I don't imagine Touch controls are very nice Thank you for speaking a bit slower! But when describing how vibrant and dynamic characters are you could give an example? Like "look at the way Zagreus moves and says one lines when he notices something. We are instantly endeared to him" yes the game is fluid, the audio is beautiful but I'd want to know what the audio, what is this fluidity you speak of

Great game I highly recommend it!
I liked it for about a week then I got too annoyed to play anymore. It's plagued with menus. Too many things to click on and to manage, no thanks. I'll just go back to playing metal slug 3 over and over again.
@@SegaAidan I would agree that that is a big issue for most mobile games now a days. I’m glad you at least got to enjoy it for that week.
@Gaming_In_The_Moment yeah it was a pretty good time for the first part of the game, joint ops is my favorite part of the game

I thought it was just another gotcha game
Luckily it is not. There is some good content here the issue is the progression walls that you hit after a few hours into playing it.
I know this is a older video but ... slay the spire or dawncaster ?
Honestly, I was just on a podcast with Mintcity and we are both in agreement. Dawncaster is more enjoyable in our opinions. I think that once you get the mechanics down it is more preferable. Getting the DLC makes it even better! Hope this helps!

when I watched the trailer I hated the new graphics but after seeing more gameplay I actually like them now, modern enough but still metal slug
Completely get it. I was hesitant too. I think the bigger thing for me that hurt it was the grinding that you eventually get to to progress in the main story missions. It isnt bad but I much would have preferred a traditional Metal Slug experience even if it meant paying for it!

@Gaming_In_The_Moment I still couldn't understand why some players have "special abilities" that light up when they do something e.g. shoot, rebound, pass, etc. I thought I would unlock it when I get to Ace. However, my Maggie still doesn't have it despite being an Ace.
Something that's different on any other platform is that when Bendy chases you on PC and stuff, kt showes inky lines on the walls while on mobile you're just blinded by a black screen when Bendy is near

I wish they'd continue with this particular series. I like Heist and Dig, but this one hits that sweet spot for me
I liked dig too, I havent played heist. That being said, this was an awesome game and would be super excited for a sequel all things considered.

Slight correction on the pricing, Legendary Edition doesn’t include the Eternal Embers DLC upfront. Only the Ultimate Edition includes everything upfront. And $9.99 version is the Titan Quest HD which is just the base game.
I just bought the ultimate for 24.99. Loving it so far

I have every upgrade and the last level is still to hard. I cant get any stronger and the projectile archetype weapon is definitely the best. I got it so it hits everything and it is so op that every weapon i have will do 300 000 dmage to 500 000 damage by the time to boss kills me to the 7 or 8 million damage the projectile archetype weapon does. It kills everything before the other weapons have time to do anything. And yet the bosses are disigned to troll the shit out of you. You get out of the way of an attack and they teleport. Or you just cant see whats happening over your own weapons and enemies
Dang that sucks. I didnt make it to the last boss in the final world. It is a shame that that is the case considering that I had fun with it during my time playing it.

Ya I can see that in some instances but sometimes you aggro the wrong guy and another spawns in a nearby location making escape a bit more than a skill issue lol

I know it really does given how great of a game it is. I have heard that the developer has had several games that they have decided not to port over. Heres to hoping that they eventually change their mind.

0:17 You make it sound like Shovel knight dig itself is only available on apple arcade. It's not, the game is readily available on steam. It's mobile port, which you're reviewing, /is/ apple exclusive though. Maybe in future cases say something like "in this mobile port of Shovel knight dig, exclusive only to apple arcade", to avoid confusion. You could also try to explain your thoughts a bit more? You said that the secret rooms make the exploration satisfying and you could provide more of those. Why do you like the soundtrack - does it reflect each world well, make you excited about the area? Oh and it's just a personal thing but maybe you could speak a bit slower? take a bit more pause between words and sentences, so the listener is able to understand and take in what you're saying more easily. It would be great for people with auditory processing issues, people who's english is not their first language. Overall I did enjoy your video and I hope you grow as you continue making them! Im glad you enjoy it. If you havent checked it out look at a game like brotato (premium but I think is worth it and still really enjoyable)
For some reason I just like the original layout and aesthetic of 1 much better. Felt like dark souls mixed with Pokémon. This new one seems a bit unpolished and those top and bottom frames piss me off so much
That is fair. I like the gameplay a bit more. The systems and amount of mechanics are much easier to digest in my opinion.

Vampire survivors was one of the originals and still has content added on it. Therefore I still think it is the better purchase right now. Nerd survivors can be a competitor if it adds a bit more content and synergies in future updates.

A lot of people like it because of how easy it is to pick up and get started. I think that there is a lot to do with the seasons replayability.

The UI in my opinion makes this game almost unplayable. Not sure if it's just me. The first game is still better for me. Maybe I just need to give it more time, but the UI is just so confusing.
I will agree it is not the most friendly. As someone who played the first I will say that it is much cleaner and easier to understand.

I have never played night of the full moon so I cannot speak to that but I would say that Dawncaster is better than indies lies. However, Dawncaster is a paid title.
