Thanks for the helpful video. I'm wondering why you needed to replace the existing splice? Seems like the way you had it would work just fine. Just wondering because the male/female trunk connectors are expensive. Thanks

Thank you, that was a very helpful video. Quick question: Are the connectors labeled for which side is red and which side is black? Or because it is A/C it doesn't matter? Thanks.
It's very important to identify your phasing and be consistent when applying an Enphase System to an AC-coupled Energy Storage system. Still, as Eric stated, it's up to you to create a phasing system that you will be consistent with.
@@miloinda Can you elaborate on this? I watched the Enphase video and it looks like the connector can be rotated 180 degrees and still connect. The Enphase video also does not discern between the red and black wire when putting the connector together. This leads me to believe that the wire colors do not matter.
