The decade that saw the rise and fading away of hippies with their transistor radios, hula hoops, pogo sticks, ripped and patched bellbottoms, Volkswagen vans with hand painted slogans using paint nobody in their right mind would ever use from the reduced bin, PEACE, FLOWER POWER, 'SAVE THE ENVIORMENT SHOWER WITH THREE CHICKS', SAVE THE WHALES BUT SHOOT THE SEALS ETC. ETC. And who could forget the vernacular - AWW RIGHT ARM MAYAN, FARM OUT! The greatest attribute of the era was all the very best of the very best music!!
