@@charlie.carter.outdoors I have. In my first season. Depending on the weather it might still have a lot of snow on it which makes it harder going and you’ll want the new guidebook as some bits fell off a while back but it’s a great route. Look me up when you’re in Cham.

Ive had hundreds of great pizza in the North....

@@CanadianTexaninLiguria True ! One can have a great pizza in Poland for example ! What I've been talking about was culinary tradition, which definitely defines North Italy as "polenta land" !

Personal opinion is one thing we are entitled to and experiences are heavily influenced by circumstances. So as you will see if you watched the video, this was a day trip, travelling to Rome and back is not a day trip. (And would also incur extra costs from the toll roads) I’m also, not a fan of polenta and in my opinion the pizza and pasta in northern Italy is far superior to what we get in France even though it’s just the other side of the tunnel. Also tunnel rates depend on vehicle size, whether you have a tunnel pass, Chamonix lift pass or a number of other factors. Also, there are explicit instruction on entering and throughout the duration of the tunnel to remind road users of the rules therefore I didn’t think this was necessary information to include.

@@etherospike3936 one can experience different cuisines at a high level in the countries they are not traditionally made. But I wasn’t talking about tradition in this video, it’s not supposed to be historically or geographically factual. It’s a vlog where a friend and I visited courmayeur to have a fun day out with food that is typically associated with Italy and can be bought for much cheaper than where we are based while being produced to a higher standard.
