The running amps and dry-run amps are very close to each other, which typically indicates a problem. Normally, there should be a noticeable difference, with the running amps being higher. This issue is likely due to the pump not operating efficiently along its performance curve. To resolve this, you can either install a ball valve on the discharge piping to throttle the flow and increase the running amperage. Alternatively, you can install level probes in the borehole to automatically shut off the pump when water levels are too low.

@@axflowaqsliquidtransfer Thank you for your great response. Why the pump is not running efficiently along its performance curve is definately a problem. When I throttle the discharge flow I notice the amps drop rather than increase which is also peculiar. I forgot to mention in my first comment that this is a 3 phase pump I am not sure if this has anu bearing on thre issue. I have decided to install the level probes to resolve the problem.

Your 2hp DC solar pump might be experiencing low pressure due to running in the wrong direction or receiving low input power. Please check the following: • Ensure the pump’s rotor and stator is running in the correct direction. • Test the pump during peak sunny times. • Make sure the solar panels are clean and facing true north (if you're in the southern hemisphere).

Hi @vusinkosi9419, the store button can be found inside the controller (refer to how to calibrate your M521 controller). Maintenance Light should switch off once the unit is calibrated.

@@axflowaqsliquidtransfer what causes the controller to keep di sound beeping with no stop and displaying 000.00 withe maintenance sign on the LCD screen and the buttons are like locked even when pressing them nothing happens thx

​@@vusinkosi9419 Something may have caused a short on the internal PCP. Please return the controller and have it tested at our workshop.

The dry run delay time can indeed be set in the settings. The purpose of the manual mode is to ignore the probes so that you can manually turn the pump on or off as needed by pressing the start and stop buttons. The dry run current is still taken into account. In the automatic mode, both the borehole and tank probes are considered, and the pump is automatically turned on and off based on the water levels measured by the probes.

Howmuch does it cost though,? wow I need it for my households for installing toilet and showering

@@mzamosithole9830 depending where you live if you live in the mountains like me you would need a 350 foot deep hole so $20000 probably. In the country side you would need a 1000 foot or more hole so $50000 keep in mind if you run out of your underground supply you would need to drill deeper but that’s unlikely unless you waste water
