    嗨老师, in fact it had a problem with Kuáng Huān only cause it's not that, I don't know how you do that, but it's fēng Kuáng 疯狂,it's only not totally the same fēng as in 狂风, it's only not always easy to be a teacher.... 😊

    Thank you so much. You are super helpful. The textbook I am reading for class categorizes the vocabulary weirdly, I sort of do not like it. For Chinese time, 今天,明天,和昨天 are all in separate units, and 英国 is randomly in the Time unit 😂

    Example 妈妈 It is pictophonetic, right? It uses 女 radical which means woman, and 吗 for phonetic, which is pronounced like ma.

      What an amazing question! I bet you guys are so confused! let's use 没 for example. Originally 没(mò) meant “to retrieve something out of water”, which then became “to sink”, which then became 没( méi )“to not have”. So, this character has two different pronunciations!

      As for character 渐,金文=(水,河水)+(斩,切分),造字本义:多步骤分流治水。It originally means use multiple steps gradually regulate the water amount from the main river. Later, became "gradual". So, yes, they all have the three doc water radical, hope this is helpful for you!
