Première composition avec le VST Sylenth1 qui est franchement très sympa
C'est vraiment SUPER
check out the Body Count version of this song. DG plays the solo to Ice's re-wording - it works very well - I think you could insert this solo into ANYTHING and it will work out
nice. Time to add the 2024 never ending ones too
Fuckin good cleaning my house tune thanks 🙏
chat is this AI?
Thank you Doctor, I'm feeling better.
Beautiful ❤
I looooooooooooooooove this solo!
Fucking great!!!
That's sort of how it feels live, but in a good way.
I alway feel unlucky, because I cound't had the chance listening these guys alive at their prime. Almost tears me up...
Very few have heard them playing this as a 4 piece live. The 31 shows during the Wall tour (only 12 dates in the states, in NY and LA only) + Live 8. Extremely rare occurrence.
Amazing!
Gracias, Gracias, Gracias por este himno de todos los tiempos, cuando estoy nesecitado de energia escucho este solo y me levanto de donde sea !!!!!!
Been a fan of Floyd since I was a teen 73 now and still listening
Same…except then the weed kicked in, all that trauma boomeranged back at me, and I became almost afraid to listen to it again! Whoa.
@PamelaAGreen stay strong
Floyd at there best ❤
I had to listen to this again. Absolute masterpiece!
One of my favorite solos. I never want it to end.
Great transitions!

Only ONE Pink Floyd forever. What a band, I saw them 4 times in 4 different Continents.
I had no clue!😮
And Run Like Hell please
Can you do this for On The Turning Away and Sorrow Please!!
If being dead were to stay comfortably numb listening to this guitar solo forever, it would be almost like being in paradise
I don’t know if David Gilmour is the best guitarist ever…but he is MY best guitarist ever 😜
Hai ancora dei dubbi?
So underrated
That guitar tone NEVER gets old
This sounds stupid ...but I feel this song talks to me.
Are you ok 👌

Pink Floyd the best of the world forever!
Even before the solos start, I'm remembering the one and only time I've seen this epic masterpiece performed live, 10 rows from center stage at the MGM Gardens in Las Vegas, back in 2000 at Roger Waters "In the Flesh" concert, with Snowy White and Doyle Bramhall II dueling it out, back and forth, righty vs lefty, Gibson vs Strat, high atop the fucking stage above me! Epic and Incredible! In truth, wisdom teaches those who listen, that music's a compilation, not a competition, and especially when the music is timeless and truly brilliant. David and Roger created this song, they argued over the solo and Pink Floyd became one less brilliant musician shorthly thereafter because of their "creative differences" (among other things) when Roger left to pursue his solo career after the band produced "The Final Cut" (but without Richard Wright). At Rogers Waters "In the Flesh" concert I attended in 2000, I had bought 8 tickets together in the 10th row for myself and 7 close friends, and I was thinking to have each of us stand up holding over our heads a one word/phrase per cardboard sign that together read "WHAT" "GOD" "WANTS" "PART IV:" "ROGER" "DAVID" "RICHARD" "NICK", hoping Roger would read it and possibly consider rejoining Pink Floyd to continue their songwriting mastery once again (at God's request) and the billions of worldwide fans that love Pink Floyd's music. I got the idea for the 8 worded signs from Roger's "Amused to Death" album, and specifically because of it's 3 songs "What God Wants Parts I, II, and III". My 8 signs would be a continuation of "What God Wants (Part IV)" in a nod/direct reference to the 3 songs on that epic album that is so wonderfully performed with Jeff Beck's weeping lead guitarwork on much of the album. Also, on Roger's "Pro's and Cons of Hitchhiking" album, a vintage Eric Clapton brilliantly plays the lead guitar. This brings me to the point I'm trying to make, that as much as I was sad, mad, angry, and pissed off because it hurt when Roger Waters left Pink Floyd decades ago, I'd never now be able to enjoy hearing Jeff Beck make his guitar weep so beautifully on the "Amused to Death" album, or hear a vintage Eric Clapton's epic lead guitar work on "Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking" if Roger had never left Pink Floyd to start his solo career. So basically, wisdom taught me to stop considering music as a competition between David and Roger, and simply embrace and love all of their music that they've created (together or apart) as parts of a compilation. I'm finally at peace with Roger leaving Pink Floyd, and especially glad I never did the "What God Wants Part IV" thing at the MGM, because Waters probably would have told all 8 of us to go "Fuck off to the bar!" (hehe). Perhaps my lesson will teach others still mad or hurting from Roger leaving Pink Floyd/never to create music with David Gilmour again to deal with these sad facts in a new way or with greater or improved clarity. Regardless, shine on, you crazy diamonds!
what a great text and story from a PF in you. Thank you for sharing this experience and opinion
